Liger is an upcoming sports action film set to be released this month, starring Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda in the lead roles. Keeping up the hype for the film, the lead actress shared a Behind-the-scenes picture from her film shoot on Instagram. Apart from being a visual treat to the fans, the picture is somewhat peculiar.
In the photo, Ananya Panday is holding a printed photograph of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and it seems like they are twinning with each other. She is wearing a multi-coloured striped top similar to Karisma’s look in one of her films. To complete the look Panday is donning a ponytail with subtle dewy makeup.
But if you think that’s the end of the story then no, it isn’t. The post was soon noticed by the actress who influenced Ananya’s look and commented, “Awwww this is adorable, love you my doll.” And soon after her sister and the trending actress Kareena Kapoor Khan joined in the compliments train and wrote two comments for both of them.
And if you scroll even further then you would see the man who clicked Karisma Kapoor’s photograph reiterating the fact. Don’t we love a supporting and wholesome moment like this! Could there be a connection between the two? The film Liger is directed by Puri Jagannadh and was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages. It is produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.
The other cast members of the film include Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, Getup Srinu and even a cameo from Mike Tyson. Apart from it, the promo of the film will be released tomorrow at 4 PM IST and a song called Aafat will be coming out on 5 August at 9 AM IST
