LALISA by BLACKPINK’s Lisa Achieves Another Historic Feat

It is no mystery how well BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s solo debut ‘LALISA’ has performed on the music charts. The track has gone on to make and break records. It has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records by becoming the music video with the “most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist”. As of recent, it is the global music streaming platform that reports an incredible feat achieved by ‘LALISA’ on the platform.

Lisa’s solo debut ‘LALISA’ has been raging popular on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok to create reels and videos owing to the growing popularity of the song. But, what the track achieved on Spotify is going to be ranked the second in history for that particular category.

LALISA Continues To Surprise Us

As of recent, YG Entertainment reports that the title track has crossed over 100 million streams on Spotify. The track was released on September 10 and it really just took 46 days for the song to achieve this feat. Owing to previous records, this is the second-shortest period in history to achieve the mark. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK Lisa’s ‘MONEY’ presently happens to be the solo song track that holds the record for receiving the fastest to 100 million streams on Spotify. The time period for this achievement was only 37 days!

With these two feats in the bag, Lisa is now at the top two places on the list of fastest solo tracks to hit 100 million streams on Spotify. In fact, 2021 seems to be the year of girls in the K-pop industry as they are the only female K-pop artists to have songs that have reached 100 million streams on the global streaming platform. The features on Lisa’s cap continues as ‘LALISA’ currently holds the record for the fastest music video by a soloist in the world to reach 100 million views and it is also the fastest music video by a female K-pop soloist to score 200 million views.
