All Kpop MTV EMAs 2023 Nominations: BTS’ Jungkook, NewJeans, SEVENTEEN and Others

With a plethora of Kpop MTV EMAs 2023 nominations out this year, the show is bound to be a delightful treat for the fans of Kpop music. On October 4, 2023, the nominees were announced on the social media handles of MTV EMA 2023 (X page: @mtvema), and the mainstream music award ceremony presented by Paramount International Networks, which is an alternative to MTV’s Video Music Awards series (VMAs), has opened the doors to an inclusive recognition of talents from across the world.

As the Hallyu Wave reaches more and more popularity, the once sideline music frontier has now been incorporated within the mainstream narrative. With these many K-pop sensations now on the radar of the European side of musical events, one can expect Kppop fans to turn up in great number to support their favourites. Here are all those South Korean talents who were listed in the long list of nominations for this year’s annual event.

Now that you’ve had a look at the MTV EMA 2023 nominations, let’s recapitulate the happenings of last year’s ceremony, i.e. MTV EMAs 2022. BLACKPINK’s Pink Venom was nominated in the Best Video category, whereas the boy group SEVENTEEN was nominated in the Best New category, which it also bagged eventually, along with the Best Push category. Other than that, BTS and BLACKPINK were also nominated under the Best Fans category, and the former group clinched it. Additionally, Lisa, BLACKPINK, BTS, ITZY, SEVENTEEN and TWICE were nominated in the Best K-pop category. Lisa took the lead there.
