With May nearing its final chapter, it’s time we raise our anticipation for all the upcoming Kpop comebacks in June 2023. Having grooved along to new beats in May, now we must refresh our song playlists and clear up our phone storage for the latest melodies in store for us. The Kpop gods are ready to shower us with some much-awaited comebacks, as well as some solo debuts and instances of rebranded reawakening.
Recapitulating quickly with all that we were blessed with last month, May 2023 commenced its sweet tuneful streak with Le Sserafim’s Unforgiven, and then gave us BTOB’s Wind and Wish, iKON’s 3rd full album Take Off, expanded aespa’s world, with (G)-IDLE telling us how they feel. ENHYPEN’s Dark Blood pictured them as blood and love thirsty vampires, and DREAMCATCHER’s new apocalyptic chapter was accompanied by solo debuts of former LOVELYZ member MIJOO and MONSTA X’s Joohoney. Billlie, IVE, TWICE and others also released their Japanese EPs as well. Similarly, we have more solo debuts and Japanese albums coming our way in the new month and many more surprises to keep our love for music afloat.
The upcoming month as one musical blast lined up after the other, with some Japanese albums also being put out by our beloved K-pop artists. Usually, all these comebacks are slated for 6 PM KST, i.e. 2:30 PM IST, so we can expect most of these releases to come out at that time unless mentioned otherwise.
