Korean Dramas Releasing in September 2023: The month is almost here, so there are brand new Kdramas coming our way to expand our list even further! We have no complaints about this, however, it will be pretty sad to also say goodbye to some of our favourite dramas this month.

While the feeling of emptiness may be there for some time, the new dramas are sure to fill us up with excitement and eagerness to see what new stories we will be indulging ourselves in. And with the return of the Arthdal Chronicles along with new dramas like The Day, Han River Police, and 7 Escape, there is no way this month is going to let us down!

With this, let’s take a look into what this month has in store for us, and what will the ongoing dramas bring while moving into September!

The First Responders Season 2 Episode 9

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 11

The Finale weekend begins and bigger sparks are set to fly everywhere as the Counters face off with this season’s evil spirits for the last time. Directed by Yoo Seon-dong, the drama stars Cho Kyeong-kyu, Yoo Joon-sang, Kim Se-jeong, Yeom Hye-ran, Ahn Suk-hwan, and Yoo In-soo alongside other cast members. A Time Called You

A romantic fantasy awaits to begin this month of September and this one comes with a beautiful tale of love, friendship and magic. With some time travel and the face of the one she loves but with a different name, what does this tale entail for Han Jun-hee and us all? The mysteries will soon be revealed and we see the return of some of our favourite stars in this drama.

Arthdal Chronicles The Sword of Aramun

The much-awaited sequel of our beloved historical fantasy is back and this time it brings us eight years after the first season of the show. Now, Ta Gon has been king for eight years, however, has everything really been peaceful in his kingdom or is there another rebellion bubbling under the calm surface?

Directed by Kim Kwang-shik, the drama stars Jang Dong-gun, Lee Joon-gi, Shin Sae-kyeong, Kim Ok-bin, Shin Joo-hwan, and Park Hae-joon alongside other cast members. The drama is set to broadcast on tvN and stream worldwide on Disney+.

September 13

The Day / The Day of the Kidnapping

A helpless father who accepts the idea of kidnapping a rich kid goes wrong when he finds out that the little one’s parents are dead. At the same time, the little girl finds out that he lied about being his father. What more can go wrong for the helpless Kim Myung-joon? What else other than being pushed into a web of conspiracies and lies?

Han River Police

Next, we have a light drama that brings all the ups and downs we can ask for and all from the banks of the infamous Han River. As we take a look into the lives of the Han River patrol who find unexpected situations to face every day, this drama is all set to keep it light in the world with intense plots.
