Koffee With Karan Season 7 Episode 13 is the finale episode of the season and it starts off with the host Karan Johar saying that he is welcoming the viewers for the last time this season, and it should be a happy moment for us, looking at the comments on the show. And that he wants to give the viewers an award for sticking up despite that.
The description of the episode reads, “The final Koffee brews with Tanmay Bhat, Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait and Niharika NM dishing out the awards for this season. Tune in for sizzling conversations and steamy roasts.” The episode has a runtime of about 1 hour and 4 minutes.

The long-running conversations come to their conclusion in Episode 13 as the host welcomes a special jury of the influencer fame. Content creators Tanmay Bhatt, Danish Sait, Kusha Kapila, and Niharika NM are welcomed on the show to put the host to his own test.

For 7 seasons, Johar has been quizzing guests on his couch about their love lives and love interests before the camera. With the promise of manifestation, he has even made stars confess on the couch. But, when the tables turn and the finale episode’s guests ask him the same, he finally experiences his own medicine.
Right off the bat, the four guests, or should we say special hosts, start off with a roast and ask him the questions that many viewers of the show have been curious about. From mentioning Alia Bhatt’s name for the hundredth time to comparing it with Alia’s prominent ‘Shiva’ dialogue in the film Brahmastra, they instantly sweep the host off his feet.
The hilarious questioning reveals that even the actress herself has banned Johar from taking her name on the show. Followed by another attack on the visible partiality between Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, which leads to another revelation that due to some technical glitch the result showed Janhvi to be the winner of the rapid-fire round.
And when the staff corrected the results, she had to give her hamper to Sara and that’s why Johar was trying to cheer up Janhvi by being too good to her. That explains some things but doesn’t salvage his image completely. After some more talks about how he feels FOMO for not being invited to celeb weddings, we end up at Johar’s own love life.
Kusha Kapila being a keen observer of the show comments that Johar was once revealed to be in a relationship on the show and how, of all the people, Varun Dhawan knows about it. This made Tanmay hilariously question if he is in a relationship with David Dhawan as that would also explain ‘Shiva No 1‘ theories, popularised by Sonam Kapoor.
After hearing such things about himself, Karan Johar couldn’t stop saying, “Oh my god! I have never been so stressed on my own show! I can literally feel beads of sweat roll down!” However, being a pro in the game of questioning, the host managed to wiggle out of the firing without taking a name.
After almost 30 minutes of the host being the guest on his own show, they move on to the Koffee Awards where they choose from the categories like Best moments, Rapid Fire’s best moment, best episode and then best performance male & female out of all the episodes.
For the best moment, they awarded Sonam Kapoor & Arjun Kapoor for talking about Ranbir Kapoor and his upcoming film whose name Sonam didn’t know. In rapid-fire, the jury chose Ranveer Singh for his talks about butts and his on-point celeb impressions. For the best episode as well he and Alia Bhatt were awarded.
Lastly, out of all the guests on the show, the jury of four decided to award Arjun Kapoor and Samantha Prabhu for best performance in male & female categories respectively.
Koffee With Karan Season 7 Episode 13: Final Thoughts
The finale episode might be the most hilarious one in the entire season, as the host got a small dose of his medicine with a humble reality check. I hoped that maybe the four influencer guests might get to experience the Koffee rounds as well but they were called upon to give Johar a feel of the guest.
Also, Karan Johar announced in the end that the show has been renewed for another season and they will be coming back with KWK season 8, next year. The set that we saw in the episode might be their new set for the next season as well.
