Ye-sool figures out in the worst way possible in the Kiss Sixth Sense finale that she has a stalker when Hae-jin, the man whom she trusted for so long, turns out to be obsessed with her mother and kidnaps her. Min-hu, sensing something amiss, goes after her and at the reservoir from her premonition, he saves her once more.

Jealous and filled with misplaced anger, Hae-jin stabs Min-hu, blaming him for his ‘daughter’s’ condition. The police and ambulance arrive just then and Hae-jin is arrested while Min-hu is taken to the hospital. Having lost a lot of blood, his condition remains on the fence but he does wake up after 2 weeks.

Surprisingly they realise that both have lost their powers and try their hand at normal relationships. 6 months later, they constantly fight and bicker with each other about the smallest of things but regardless of what happens, promise to go with the flow.

Kiss Sixth Sense Ending Explained

Ok, so we will start with who Kim Hae-ji is: He was a former classmate of Kim Sa-ra, Ye-sool’s mother, who got obsessed with her. Even when she got married and had Ye-sool, he continued to fantasise about a life with her and thought of Ye-sool to be her daughter.

During a particularly awful breakdown, he comes face to face with Ye-sool’s father and after some back and forth, he stabs her father, killing him. Ye-sool and Min-hu come back home then and the latter is astonished to find her father lying on the floor in a pool of blood. When he sees Hae-jin hiding behind the curtain, he runs off with Ye-sool.

Trying to hide near the reservoir, a tiny Ye-sool falls into the reservoir and Min-hu saves her. Hae-jin manages to escape at that point and is never caught for his murder.

So, how do these two get their powers?

The night that Min-hu saved Ye-sool years ago, it was a blood moon and, going through a tragedy of this calibre, they got their powers when he gave her CPR. Thus, when the exact same situation happened in the present, and with the tragedy over, their powers disappeared… until she saw something while kissing Min-hu in the last scene!

Why do Min-hu and Ye-sool fight so much?

After their powers disappear, they can’t rely on those abilities to make decisions and have to go into the adulting blind which includes their relationship as well as work. Without those powers, they have to figure stuff out on their own, resulting in more fights and their uglier sides coming out. However, Ye-sool mentions in the end that regardless of what this unsure situation brings, they are still going to try their best at their relationship, even if they break up later.
