Excited for King the Land Finale? Predicting How the Story Will End!

King the Land (킹더랜드) is a rom-com Kdrama that brings the story of an heir and an employee who works at one of the hotels owned by his family. Directed by Im Hyun-wook, the drama stars Lee Jun-ho, Im Yoon-ah, Go Won-hee, Kim Ga-eun, Ahn Se-ha, and Kim Jae-won, alongside other cast members.

The drama brings the story of the heir Goo Won who has been thrown into an inheritance war, and the happy Cheon Sa-rang, whose smile moves him like no other. As the two begin to spend more time together, a beautiful love begins to bloom in their story.

King the Land episode 14 brought us closer to the end of this show as well as another wave of ups and downs for our protagonists and also the audience. Starting with the lovers’ secret coming out in the open, then facing separation and finally, a face from the past reappearing for Gu Won. The episode was really a rollercoaster, but the real fun is yet to begin.

With King the Land finale soon appearing, we can already say that a lot is bound to happen. However, what we really wish for is a happy ending after all the ruckus that is to appear because Gu Won and Sa-rang really deserve to be together. It is their warm and cute moments that got us through all these weeks and there is no better way to end this show than with these very moments.

But how will these happy days come for the two at last? What more drama and chaos is left for the two? Also, what about the other characters on the show, will they receive a happy ending too? Worry not, because we’ve got some predictions to share that could give you a glimpse of the King the Land finale.

So without further ado, here’s how we think King the Land is going to end!

King the Land Finale Predictions

Gu Hwa-ran’s End

Our antagonist who has been angering us for quite some time now, looks like her happy days are definitely coming to an end but with a hint of melancholy for the character as well. Episode 14 showed us a glimpse of her childhood where she felt neglected after seeing her father with his new family which did bring us a bit of understanding towards her character. However, King the Land episode 15 won’t let this feeling stay for long because she is bound to annoy us once again.

Episode 15 would most probably show her being pushed to the edge with her incoming divorce which would leave her spilling beans from the past. However, King the Land episode 16 might as well make a turn and bring her character on the right or at least a more acceptable track. If nothing else, I would at least like to see her become a better mother in the finale.

Kang Da-eul and Oh Pyeong-hwa

Being the best friends of the protagonist, there is no way we wouldn’t wish for them to get a happy ending. One of the things I liked about this show is how they showed them as individual characters who were protagonists of their own lives, which does stray a bit from the typical rom-com the show has been compared to for quite some time now.

Thus, fans of the show are really hoping for Pyeong-hwa to already let go of her past and get together with Ro-eun so that she can get her happily ever after. On the other hand, episode 14 already gave us a glimpse of Da-eul’s better life and we hope that continues all the way until the end.

No Sang-shik

With Sa-rang’s friends covered, we obviously have to talk about Gu Won’s closest associate. Sang-shik has really brought us good comic relief throughout the show and we hope that this forever single person finally gets the love he has been wishing for. Also, following his boss who is the protagonist is bound to leave him content with whatever he gets and so we put more hope in getting together with a certain someone.

King Hotel and King Group

When it comes to the company that threw Gu Won into an heir war, there are two possibilities that come to mind. One would be the protagonist getting it all and becoming a hero in life while the antagonist is left with nothing. The other possibility would be a clear division. wherein, Gu Won gets the Hotel only while his sister Hwa-ran gets the other business associated with the group.

The second possibility heavily depends on Hwa-ran’s character and if she is able to enter a state of peace and cooperation with her brother. While this is not an easy happening, this is a rom-com and anything is possible.

Gu Won and Cheon Sa-rang

Finally, we come to the protagonists who have spread so much love and joy during these weeks that we cannot get the energy to say goodbye to them already. It is sure that the two will definitely have a happy ending, but how and when will this happiness be possible?

Our prediction begins with them getting their happily ever after without much delay as these two characters are more mature and realistic adult characters who are not here to cause drama. They both know what they want and their trust in each other is impeccable. If there is a wait then it would be for a legitimate reason and not something like a drama built by fate for them both.

Episode 15 is most likely to solve the mess created by Il-hoon and any other family drama that could come. Following this, Gu Won is most likely to focus on clearing up the mess from the past which would lead us to episode 16 wherein we finally get either a proposal or a wedding. If we are lucky enough, we might also get a glimpse of their future together.

King the Land Finale Release Date

King the Land episode 15 is set to release on August 5, 2023, at 10:30 PM KST (8:30 PM IST) on Netflix.

King the Land episode 16 will follow episode 15 the next day as it releases on August 6, 2023, at 10:30 PM KST (8:30 PM IST) on Netflix.
