King the Land Overview
King the Land (킹더랜드) is a rom-com Kdrama that brings the story of an heir and an employee who works at one of the hotels owned by his family. Directed by Im Hyun-wook, the drama stars Lee Jun-ho, Lim Yoon-a (Yoona), Go Won-hee, Kim Ga-eun, Ahn Se-ha, and Kim Jae-won, alongside other cast members.
The drama brings the story of the heir Goo Won who has been thrown into an inheritance war, and the happy Cheon Sa-rang, whose smile moves him like no other. As the two begin to spend more time together, a beautiful love begins to bloom in their story.
Lee Jun-ho was last seen on The Red Sleeve as Yi San / King Jeongjo, while Yoona played audience-favourite Go Mi-ho in 2022’s hugely popular Big Mouth. King the Land takes over the jTBC’s Saturday-Sunday 22:30 PM KST time slot previously occupied by Doctor Cha.

Sa-rang enters King the Land and begins a new journey at her dream job, however, things aren’t as smooth sailing with her relationship. Meanwhile, Gu Won’s crush on Sa-rang only grows by the day and he decides to work on it. Finally, he gathers the courage to ask her out for dinner.
King the Land Episode 3 Recap
Sa-rang’s questions about Gu Won’s mother in the interview create a mess for the latter as well as for the live broadcast. However, the two soon fix the situation in their own way while in a rage with one another. The following day’s photoshoot is not easy with their moods as irritated as the previous day, but when the two get stranded on a nearby island for the night, new feelings surface within Gu Won.
Upon their return, Sa-rang is promoted to King the Land while Gu Won realises his feelings for her. But when he steps forward to confess, he sees her in the arms of another man.
