Being held at Makuhari Messe in Japan this year, KCON Japan 2023 Day 3 has one starry performance lined up after the other. Following the success of the first two days at the annual music convention, the third and final day’s extravaganza kicked off on May 14, 2023. Representing Korean culture to the world through the power of K-pop music, Day 1 and 2’s lineup saw groups like INI, JUST B, NiziU, STAYC, THE BOYZ, Yena, 8TURN, AB6IX, ATBO, ATEEZ, DXTEEN, JO1, LE SSERAFIM, VIVIZ and XG.

KCON Japan 2023 MCs for Day 3
Fourth-generation K-pop idols, ITZY’s Ryujin and ENHYPEN’s Ni-ki stepped in as the debuting hosts of the evening on May 14, 2023, the last day of the music festival. ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao and Sung Hanbin steered the wheel after them, as the first MC duo went off to prepare for their respective setlists.

Managed by HYBE Labels, the multinational group also teased their second EP First Howling:WE that is set to release on June 14, 2023. the members performed Intro + Scent of You and Under the Skin.
xikers
The rookie fifth-generation boy group made their official KCON debut as a group.

The third-generation stars performed three songs from their discography – Tantara, U, and Freedom.
Kep1er
They performed I do! Do you? from their 2023 Japanese album <FLY‐BY> and Giddy from their fourth South Korean EP Lovestruck.
ZEROBASEONE
This KCON 2023 presentation marked their debut performance as a group after their formation on Mnet’s reality competition show Boys Planet. Treating their fans with some goodies throughout their performance, the boys showcased their Here I Am and Say My Name stages. Leader Sung Han-bin took charge and initiated the conversation with the audience and their fans, Gyu-vin addressed them in English, while Kim Ji-woong in Japanese, followed by the rest of the members taking turns to speak their heart.
A spoiler film, titled Youth in the Shade, for the group’s upcoming debut project was also showcased as the closing moment.
ITZY
Kicking off their alluring setlist, the JYP Entertainment girl group presented the title track of their sixth EP, Cheshire. Following that, they captured pictures with their fans though the CCCV sequence, and resumed their presentation by taking a step closer to the fans and singing their fifth EP’s (Checkmate) song – Sneakers, and closed their performance with one last song – Blah Blah Blah.
Special Collaboration Stage – Kep1er’s Chaehyun and JO1’s Kono Junki
They covered Bae Suzy and Baehkhyun’s song Dream.
ENHYPEN
After their opening music act for the evening, the HYBE boy group came back for another grand stage and commenced their next set with the hard rock track Bless Cursed from their 2022 album aka their first repackaged album DIMENSION : ANSWER. A short break allowed them to interact with their fans gathered at the venue. Slowing things down with their mellow, upbeat track Polaroid Love, the members took a ride closer to the attending KCONers. And then came another explosive performance through their Future Perfect (Pass the MIC) stage closed Day 3’s list of musical acts. Thereafter, all other groups and artists came out to rejoice the closing moments of the show together.
The next KCON chapter will be held in Los Angeles, in August 2023.
