After a considerable hiatus, Kajal Aggarwal is setting her foot back into the cinema industry with a new flick, and a trailer was released recently! Her new movie Karungaapiyam Trailer Twitter reactions are pouring in positively, and fans are guaranteed to witness an outstanding performance of Kajal and other famous actresses like Regina Cassandra, Raiza Wilson and Janani.
Directed by Deekay, Karungaapiyam is a horror film following the story of Kajal’s past, Regina’s life, Raiza’s intuitions and Janani’s desires. The music producer of the film is S N Prasad. On January 30, 2023, actor Vijay Sethupathi released the trailer on his official Twitter handle. The movie was shot in Udumalaipettai, Chennai and Pollachi locations. Apart from the four prominent roles, the other notable cast is Yogi Babu, John Vijay, Sha Ra, Lolu Sabha Manohar, Pugazh and Kalaiyarasan.

The trailer starts off with Regina opening the Karungaapiyam book. As she reads it, Kajal Aggarwal is introduced as a happy woman leading a beautiful life in ancient Tamil Nadu. In the following frames, we can see Raiza Wilson having a terrible dream which comes true. Then, Janani is introduced as a woman who is pretty hasty and quick to anger. There is a hint of Kajal’s terrible past life that has pushed a curse on Regina, Janani and Raiza. We still don’t know what connects these three ladies, though.
