Another member of the band BTS is extending their solo career; Jungkook’s SEVEN is just the beginning in that aspect. This artist has been part of the band since 2010, and back then, he had ‘Bambi eyes,’ as Namjoon had mentioned. According to the teasers and the videos, it seems that the song will have deep bass energy and will definitely feature the artist in a new light than he has been in most public appearances with the band.
However, this is not his first stint in solo singing. Before the band went on hiatus, he had worked on some songs like Still With You, My You and many others. Those songs were present on SoundCloud before they were released on Spotify and other music platforms (very recently). Jungkook’s SEVEN Song Vibe
According to official sources, it will be an invigorating summer single hoping to bring summer fun to all the listeners. It is expected to take fans through the artist’s signature charm. Additionally, the aesthetic so far has been about teasing the days of the week, and the photoshoot shows some really well-constructed images with him wearing formal casuals. Since it is a summer single, the black and white convey more serious tones and even though the summer is airy, this will be more of the music festival head-banging, sweaty type single.
Jungkook’s SEVEN Campaign Short Film
In this short film, we see the artist surrounded by a deep blue background. He is wearing a normal white tee with his trusty lip piercing and the general barrage of necklaces. However, the new thing in this video is the hairstyle. He has been dressing like this for a while, but the hair is a new addition. It has been a while since the artist’s hair has been this long, and the style has been carrying the photo shoot and all the visual material that has recently been released.
Jungkook’s SEVEN Recording Film Preview
This preview shows the singer in the recording booth ripping the vocals, working and trying his best to hit all the notes required to make this song the best thing we will listen to while his solo career kicks off. He was joined by Andrew Watt, who had been photographed with the artist back in April when Scooter Braun had also shared an image. They were in Los Angeles, which makes sense because the video also showed the artist landing in a city. While Scooter is not seen in this video, Watt gives a little sound byte for what is about to come for the artist.
Jungkook’s SEVEN Release Calendar
The calendar shows releases since Still With You and My You, which came out on July 3, 2023. Following this, the concept photos and short film came out on July 6, 2023. Additionally, the BTS film of the recording and the music video were released on July 7, 2023, at 12:00 AM KST and 11:00 AM ET. Most recently, the Recording Fim preview was released at 8:30 PM IST or 12:00 AM KST or 11:00 AM ET. After this, the music video teaser will be released on July 12, 2023, at 11:00 AM ET, or at 12:00 AM KST.
On July 14, 2023, the big ball drops, and both the song and the music video will drop. The next day that is July 15, 2023, the official performance video of the song will drop. And finally, the Recording film of the song will drop on July 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM ET.
Jungkook’s SEVEN Live Performance
The artist is expected to perform live at the Good Morning America’s GMA Summer Concert Series Live from Central Park. This live performance is set to happen on the same day as the song and the music video releases. According to sources, he will be the first solo Korean Pop artist to perform in this concert series. However, he will be joined by some big headliners, including Hozier, Tim McGraw and even Carly Rae Jepsen.
SEVEN will be coming to Spotify and other music streaming platforms on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 01:00 PM KST or 12:00 AM ET.
