In the third episode, the battle between the titular characters became immensely intense. It will leave the fans shocked and surprised at the events which conspired within the last few minutes. Along with the beautifully crafted animation, this episode is undoubtedly one of the best ones so far, and the series has just started to broadcast.
Gojo, who has been a mysterious individual up until the first season, is finally getting some depth to his character. Getting to see him in a more vulnerable and inexperienced stage of his life provides a better perspective on his present actions. The fans will also get to understand his thought process and connect with him on a personal level. Burdened by the having six eyes that created an imbalance in the universe has put a lot of responsibilities on his soldiers from a very young age which explains much of his personality.
The most fascinating character has to be Geto Suguru. Watching him fight side by side with Gojo is surprising, to say the least, and gives a much-needed backstory to his complicated character. As we all know, he was the main antagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and an extremely powerful one as well. However, his personality is the extreme opposite of how he was presented in the movie and the anime series. He is much more caring, and understanding and steps up for humanity.

Needless to say, the fighting sequences are a sight to behold. MAPPA deserves every praise in the world for creating this piece of art. Every frame is constructed delicately with extreme dedication. Moreover, the attention to detail given to each and every character is another aspect which stands out from any other anime series.
Along with the consistent plot build-up, the creators are also developing the characters adequately. Although we are just in the third episode, the viewers can definitely find themselves relating to the characters and their stories. The added visual experience is just a cherry on top that makes the audience immerse in the story completely.
