Ishq-E-Nadaan Ending Explained: Directed by Avishek Ghosh and written by Sudeep Nigam, the new JioCinema romance drama portrays how love works for different people of different generations. The movie stars Neena Gupta as Charulata, Lara Dutta as Ramona Singh, Kanwaljeet Singh as Subhash Kapoor, Shriya Pilgaonkar as Siya, Mohit Raina as Ashutosh, Suhail Nayyar as Piyush, Mrinal Dutt as Raghav, Samvedna Suwalka as Meenakshi aka Meenu, Gaurav Sharma as Mahesh and other actors.
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Avishek Ghosh, Raj Malik, and Shilpan Vyas Tinu, the movie’s cinematography was done by Gairik Sarkar while Dnyanada Samarth led the editing team. The music director of the film is Raja Narayan Deb who is known for his works in movies like Khoj, Biler Diary, and more. The runtime of the movie is 1 hour 55 minutes and is available in Hindi.

The movie introduces various characters like Charulata, Ashutosh, Ramona, Piyush, Subhash, Raghav, Subhash, and several others. Starting off with Ashutosh, he works at a 5-star hotel as the manager where he meets a top businesswoman, Ms. Ramona. Initially, they don’t get well but soon, sparks start to fly.
Ashutosh believes that after his wife passed away, Ramona is the one who made him feel like this. When he opens up about it to her, she reveals that she is a queer person and is in love with a woman named Bhargavi. Apparently, Ramona books a room at their hotel because it is their secret spot to meet. Ashutosh understands her and remains friends with her.

Then we meet Charulata, the mother of Meenakshi. Meenakshi and Mahesh are living in Mumbai and invite Charulata to stay with them. When she starts living with him, she meets the ex-film director Subhash and bonds with him. Over time, she opens up about her hidden love story and they decide to search for the man Charulata was in love with.
When Charulata visited Rome with her late husband Pritamji, she met a person at the hotel who she instantly clicked with. From then on, every year on her birthday that stranger sends her a romantic letter. To find this person and meet him, Charulata and Subhash proceed.

There’s this last couple, Siya and Piyush whose story plays a huge significance. Siya returns to Mumbai from the US and finds she is pregnant. In Mumbai, she befriends Piyush and he sticks along with her, aiding her daily. He develops feelings for her and they both decide to date. However, Piyush wants the biological father of the child to know about Siya’s condition so he calls Raghav and asks him to come to Mumbai.

Raghav and Siya have an argument and Piyush misunderstands Siya. They both have a disagreement and part ways. Raghav tries to make Siya understand that though they’re not married, he is still the child’s father. Siya simply shuns him out.
Ishq-E-Nadaan Ending Explained
After a few days, Charulata and Subhash visit Siya asking for Ashutosh. It is then revealed that Siya is Ashutosh’s daughter who he used to call Pihu. Charulata shows the letters her father wrote and Siya in return gives her the remaining letters which he penned down before passing away. Siya tells that her father asked her to post one of the letters every year on June 4th. Charulata breaks down and takes time to process Ashutosh’s death.
Apparently, when Ashutosh won the lottery to Italy, that’s where he met Charulata. But since she was a married woman, he only wrote her letters without any expectations. Just when Charulata collects herself after hearing the sad news, Siya’s water breaks. Subhash and Charulata take her to the hospital and call Raghav at Siya’s request.

Raghav looks at the baby boy and feels happy. But his excitement short lives when Siya keeps murmuring Piyush’s name. So Raghav calls Piyush and they both take a look at the baby. Charulata and Subhash leave together as they realise that their past stories are over and it is time for their new journey.
Siya and Piyush start living together. Siya and Raghav decide to take care of the child as parents. In the end, the viewers have another flashback of Ashutosh happily eating gelato and enjoying his life as a hopeless romantic.
