Longest Third Date couple Khani and Matt are back in the news again. The Netflix documentary is now out, and we get to see how the duo spent 79 days together in Costa Rica, a completely different country. What was supposed to be a third date, a short weekend trip, was an adventure and experience they will always remember.

Their purpose in taking a weekend trip was to have fun. The flight to Costa Rica was cheap in March 2020, so they decided to spend the third date on holiday, away from NYC.
Khani and Matt ended up spending 79 days together. Not all days were an adventure. They had some ups and downs, but also a pleasant time together. Their third date made them live like a couple who would wake up and cook together, do household stuff together, have lots of good sex and sometimes kill the bugs entering the house.
Throughout the documentary, Khani Le keeps saying she is sure she doesn’t want to date Matt. Her past relationship experiences weren’t good. Her only priority during her time with Matt in Costa Rica was to find one flight that would take her back home. Matt, a big fan of relationships, was initially not open to being with Khani for something serious. However, they bonded, got attached, and had many vulnerable and sweet moments together as time passed.
But both were too hesitant to say what was in their hearts. Matt Robertson accepted that he wanted to be in a relationship with Khani. But he couldn’t express his feelings directly because Khani always made it clear that she was not open to being in a relationship with anyone then. Thanks to Matt’s vlogs, the media found a good story about the couple that got stuck in a foreign land on their third date. During one of the interviews, Matt said that he and Khani are boyfriend and girlfriend.

So many weeks passed, but Matt and Khani never expressed love for each other. Finally, in June, the duo returned to New York City. But they wonder if their lives will be the same again or not. Thankfully, Khani and Matt decide to meet again for a cute date. Khani then asks Matt why he didn’t ask her to be his girlfriend. Matt finally pops in the questions sweetly, and she says yes.

Well, the duo officially start dating. But are they still together? Good news for all romance lovers. They even met each other’s parents and spent a happy time together. They also have a dog named Banks together.
