Iron Reign Plot
Taking place along the port of Barcelona, the Manchado family hold the reigns of the biggest terminal of the port and, as such, controls what goes in and out. Considering this port is also one of the ways in which the most amount of drugs are smuggled into the country, Joaquin Manchado holds his relationships with everyone related to his business close and doesn’t stray from his words. Unfortunately, when a shipment from a big client disappears, the family is left in disarray as it becomes clear that there are people working from behind the scenes who wish to cause them harm.
Iron Reign Ending Explained

After learning about Joaquin and his family as well as how he operates his business, we find out that the newest recruit on their team, Victor, is an undercover cop as well as a close friend of Joaquin’s daughter Rocio and his son-in-law Nestor. One night, Joaquin is attacked at the docks by an unknown and unseen assailant, which leaves him horribly hurt and in a coma and the rest of the family finds out that the important shipment containing drugs that they were supposed to send off is missing.
With the mounting pressure, Nestor, Joaquin’s gambling-addict son Ricardo, and Joaquin’s brother Roman try to find the shipment along with Victor, who is giving away information to the authorities in order to arrest the entire family. After much searching, Nestor and Roman find Ricardo’s truck at a drug plant that also has some of the stolen shipments in the building. Convinced that Ricardo is up to no good once again, they try to stop him once and for all. In the meantime, tired of everyone looking down on him and trying to take back control, Ricardo joins hands with another criminal, Jatri, to find the rest of the container and get the payout in order to take over the business.
Unfortunately, Ricardo’s plans don’t work out as, after he goes after Christina, Roman’s ex, and horribly injures her, Roman goes after him and gets rid of Jatri first after then getting into a fistfight with Ricardo. In the ensuing tussle, both of them end up dying. Rocio is heartbroken at losing two family members.

Meanwhile, Nuria, another dockworker, turns out to be a second mole and provides Rocio with important evidence that Miki, the corrupt cop, was hiding. Rocio gets the SIM card restored and finds a cryptic text in his father’s inbox which gives her the name of their own logistical partner. Meanwhile, Miki finds Nuria’s true identity and tortures her for more information but she dies while Victor tries to save her and a shootout ensues. Sadly, during Roman and Ricardo’s funeral, Rocio and Nestor’s daughter is kidnapped by Ariel and Lucia, who threaten to harm her if the loot isn’t returned in 24 hours.
Running out of time, Victor and Rocio go to the address of the logistic company and find Miki moving the boxes containing the drugs but before they are able to do anything, two masked people go up to him demanding the loot. Miki gets shot when he tries to one-up them and the two people, who turn out to be Rocio’s babysitter and Nestor’s lover respectively, run off with everything proving that they have been shadowing the family the entire time in order to get rich quickly.

After the two leave, Rocio and Victor find Miki’s buzzing cellphone and it turns out that Nestor was behind it all as he tried to get rich and take over the company from the beginning. Heartbroken, Rocio later informs Victor that he is her daughter’s father and, in a flashback, we see that they had slept together the night Rocio got married to Nestor.
In the end, we learn Victor’s motivations as well – Joaquin and Roman had murdered his father when they were taking over the shipping business years ago from Christina’s father (whom they also murdered) and from that day Victor had vowed to take revenge. In the last scene, we see Joaquin waking up but the fate of everyone is left up in the air for now.
