Death can change many lives, even if it might be fake. Insomniacs After School Episode 6 is the sixth episode of a show that explores this topic through the eyes of two teenagers. Insomniacs After School is a romance and drama anime based on a manga written and illustrated by Makoto Ojiro. The series is animated by Studio LIDENFILMS and is also known as Kimisomu Episode 6 and Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia Episode 6 in original Japanese.
The Astronomy Club suffered a terrible tragedy when one of its members committed suicide some time ago. The club and where they used to work, the observatory, are all lying empty without use. It is the perfect scenario for two outsiders who don’t know a better use for their time to accidentally meet and go on a journey that would change their lives forever. They haven’t lived much of their lives, to begin with, so it’s not that big of a deal.
Grumpy insomniac Ganta Nakami stumbles across the moderately rebellious yet easygoing Isaki Magari in the Astronomy Club’s abandoned observatory. Magari is surprised and tries to avoid a confrontation, only to be stopped by a broken door, forcing the two of them inside. The two forge an unlikely friendship, leading them to use the observatory as a safe space for them to interact and discuss the one thing that ails them both- inability to sleep.

The astronomy club members must now enter the campsite without being detected rest they risk not being able to do this again. That will also be bad because the duo seems keen on not being seen together with each other, and coming back after an all-night escapade will certainly raise more questions.

The show features some fantastic representations of teenage characters, and I expect many of them to get involved in this episode. Magari’s friend who complains a lot, Rui, the outspoken but generally non-offensive teammate of Ganta, and several others that were depicted in this episode will also make appearances and quips, depending upon what happens. Then, there are the teachers, who will have to punish the two if they are late in any way.

Magari escapes being caught, but Ganta doesn’t. He should be able to escape by showing the pictures he took with that camera, although moving past the last picture might be a little risky. Magari is probably prettier than the stars to him, so it is all good.
Insomniacs After School Episode 5 Recap
The school camping trip begins with dull skies and high spirits on everyone’s part except Ganta. The students, who have been divided into groups, take their time to set up their tents and cook food. Ganta has a terrible time trying to fall asleep and gets woken up by every little thing, and his outlook towards the camp suffers. It rains, and the next night, when Ganta is at his worst, the clouds clear up and allow him and Magari to do things they love the most, take pictures of the sky and lay down next to each other and fall asleep.
