Insider is a 2022 Korean Action Thriller which revolves around a Judicial apprentice, Kim Yo-han who goes undercover to work on a mission. The drama is written by Moon Man-se and directed by Min Yeon-hong. It stars Kang Ha-neul, Lee Yoo-young, Ho Sung-tae, Kang Young-seok and Kim Sang-ho in leading roles. The series will have 16 episodes in total. Insider Episode 7 has a runtime of 60 minutes.

In Insider Episode 7, Yo-han has taken over the Seongju prison’s gambling den and Nam Dae-mun has become his loyal subordinate. Dae-mun only wants money and Yo-han is ready to give it all. Yo-han’s real mission is to avenge those who destroyed his family and for that, Oh Soo-yeon has been helping him. As per her plan, Yo-han has taken over the Seongju prison but outside the prison, Soo-yeon has been unable to find Min-ho, the kid who is the eyewitness of Yo-han’s grandmother’s murder.
Yo-han needs bigger connections if he wants things to move faster and get his revenge as soon as possible. To achieve that, Yo-han needs to meet people in Sinseon-dong. It is that division of the prison where all the VIP criminals live. In Sun-oh’s words, they are thousand years old pythons who hide in mud but as soon they see a dragon ball, all of the rise up. The security officer tells Yo-han that not even the warden can enter the Sinseon-dong without their invitation. Nevertheless, Yo-han tries to fool the warden and almost gets inside the Sinseon-dong. However, Chairman Do meets them at the entrance and Yo-han’s plan fails.

Chairman Do is a former loan shark and he still has influence over big industrialists despite his old age. He knows Oh Soo-yeon but refuses her request to let Yo-han inside Sinseon-dong. Yo-han and Soo-yeon have a long way to go and there are a lot of people they have to deal with. Soo-yeon only wishes that they won’t have to deal with Yang Hwa, Yang Joon’s older brother who is the real leader of the Bukyeongpa gang. Chairman Do refused Soo-yeon’s request and yet he called Yo-han to do a task for him. Do had warned him before to not enter Sinseon-dong and he warns him that it is not a place he should be in.
Do has given Yo-han a document to deliver to a location. Yo-han gets a temporary for half day and within that day, he has to complete Do’s task as well as find Min-ho. Soo-yeon cannot help him directly because she is being tracked by Prosecutor Jae-sung but she has sent the Police officer for his help. Yo-han gets the document and while delivering it, meets Jo Hae-do, the gangster whose gambling den Yo-han destroyed. He tries to hurt Yo-han but a lawyer who is also bleeding, helps Yo-han telling him that he is Do’s man. They manage to escape from Jae-ho thanks to the police officer.
Insider Episode 7 Ending
Yo-han finds Min-ho hidden at a school but before he could take him, Jae-ho appears again. Jae-ho’s gang helped him flee from the police and could reach Yo-han because of the GPS tracker. Jae-ho is now after both of them and Soo-yeon cannot help them because she has already taken the injured lawyer with her. However, with no other choice left, Soo-yeon goes to save Min-ho and Yo-han. While both of them run away, Yang Hwa runs over Min-ho and Soo-yeon arrives a little late. Yo-han gets into Soo-yeon’s car but Yang Hwa has become violent and climbs over their car and starts to break the window.
Yo-han has invited himself to the hell called Sinseon-dong and he doesn’t know what’s in store for him.
Insider Episode 7 Review
Insider Episode 7 is a pathway to the horror that is going to come into Yo-han’s life. So far, it was fun in the prison but now with Sun-oh gone and Yo-han treading alone with his revenge plan, things are not going to be good for him. He is unaware of the crime world and what it can make him do. It will be interesting to see what length will Yo-han have to go to get his revenge.
