The episode begins with Se-na coming to Ra-ik in absolute distress over the news of her idol getting arrested. After that, she sees a very dejected Ra-ik, who still could not believe what just happened to him. He questions her about how his friend, who was alive the previous night, ended up dead in his house while he slept soundly without knowing about the incident. Here, Ra-ik goes on to blame his fangirls for the murder, and he constantly rants about them venomously, almost scaring Se-na.

After that, we get to see the life of Se-na, who used to get bullied mercilessly in her school life. The only comfort she got in her life was when she accidentally met a young Ra-ik, who aspired to be a singer even then. He gave her his cap and a song he recorded, saving her from getting depressed and committing suicide. This act inspired Se-na to study and become the successful lawyer that she is today. Then we get to see that she has been supporting him since day one, even when no one knew about his group.

However, she can not do anything directly because she is not Ra-ik’s actual lawyer. Later, Ra-ik’s lawyer very conveniently takes an escape route when he gets to know that a very powerful lawyer is going against Ra-ik. Not only that, his own agency backs out of getting involved in his case and even terminates his contract. No one, even Ra-ik’s own manager, believes that he is innocent, and there is someone else involved in the murder. In such a scenario, Se-na claims that she will be the one to help him out, but on one condition.

The moment Ra-ik accepts Se-na’s conditions, she starts her own investigation and finds out that all the other members of Ra-ik’s group also live in the same building. She goes to his flat and gets all the information she can about what happened that day. She even gets in contact with the obsessive fans who broke into his home and makes them confess how they did it in the first place. Though at first, she gets some pressure from higher-ups who tell her not to take the case, Se-na becomes very sure that she will do everything in her power to fight for Ra-ik.

The first hearing happens, and Se-na does an exceptionally good job at defending Ra-ik. She points out the flaws in the investigation and how there is not enough proof that Ra-ik is the one who committed the murder. She manages to get Ra-ik out of the police station for the time being, but the idol is absolutely devastated by his situation. Thankfully, Se-na was there to take care of him and take him to her own house, and most probably, he will stay with her from now on.

I really like how this series blends the emotional notes with its crime thriller aspect. It also uses some really good camera angles that portray the characters beautifully. Other than that, its storyline is also becoming really intriguing, and I’m excited to see how things go.
