This episode begins, and we see that Chung-jae is actually going away from the place where he was living, closer to Se-na. He plans to open his own office and is finally retiring from being a sidekick to Se-na. They reflect on their past memories and depart on a good note. On the other hand, Se-na also quit her position as a lawyer partner at her firm and focused solely on her father’s case, which was a case that had been given a wrongful verdict previously. She finally decides to choose her own path, and even the fans of Gold Boys appreciate her for protecting Ra-ik.

Se-na also discloses that she is a Gold Boys fan to her subordinate, and this scene was very funny. They both fangirl together and restate the fact that fans only want the best for their idols and nothing else. Thus, she starts working towards building the case and gathering more information about her father. She also claims that she misses Ra-ik, but that does not mean that she will lack in her own professional field. She relentlessly works towards getting her father the justice he deserved, and finally, the trial happens.

Right after the case reopens, Ra-ik comes to greet Se-na. But this happens in front of all the journalists, making everyone know that they are still in contact intimately. This situation does not bother either of them, as they are very secure in their relationship. After that, Ra-ik and Se-na go on a peaceful stroll for their date, and then they return to Se-na’s place. Se-na kisses him, and then they experience an intimate moment, where they spend the night together.

We get to see that even the other members of the Gold Boys know about Se-na and are not at all troubled by her presence. Even the fans are very much in love with her because she is the one who saved Ra-ik and knows about their relationship. Later, something hilarious happens where Se-na becomes very happy when Ra-ik gives her concert tickets, showcasing how she is still one of their biggest fans. Later, Ra-ik decides to surprise Se-na with a sudden picnic plan, but they instead go to Chung-jae’s office launch party.

Here, Ra-ik and Chung-jae talk about Se-na and finally become more accepting of each other. After this, all the members of the Gold Boys also go to pay their homage to Woo-seong, and this segment was really emotional. We also see Se-na attending the concert, finally as a fan and enjoying her time. The concert becomes a major hit, and the episode ends in a very heartwarming manner.

I loved this episode and the series as a whole. The mystery remained the driving force behind the narrative, keeping the tension alive until the very end. But what truly stood out was how naturally the romance was woven into the story.

It never felt overshadowed by the suspense; instead, it added emotional weight to the characters’ journeys. Anyone looking for something refreshing and different from the usual rom-com formula should definitely give this series a try.
