The intense and fan-favourite reality show is finally coming to an end, and we are just one final round away from deciding the top six contestants who will debut in the new girl group, Teddy. With the final week upon us, anticipation builds for a glimpse of what’s to come in the I-LAND 2 Finale Preview. After all the major twists and turns, the Mnet reality series is in its last lap, determining the final contestants who will kick off a new generation of K-pop idols.
Each episode intensifies the competition, heightening viewer anticipation as the series progresses. Known as 아이랜드2 in Korean, this reality competition, officially titled I-LAND Season 2: N/a, features a diverse group of 24 contestants, ranging from seasoned K-pop veterans to aspiring idol trainees.
Part 1 of the show is hosted and narrated by actor Song Kang, while Part 2 is presented by ZEROBASEONE’s Hanbin. The show also stars Producer Teddy Park, BIGBANG’s Taeyang, VVN, 24, Monika Shin, Jeon Somi, and Lee Jung-lee. This esteemed panel of judges is prepared to guide participants toward their dreams with wisdom and expertise.

Brief I LAND 2 Episode 10 Recap
The episode begins with the conclusion of Part 2’s last test, the semi-final competition. It was revealed that the I-Mate Save Vote would determine three contestants to advance to the final, while the producers would select seven more, totalling ten contestants. Two contestants would be eliminated. Next, the process for selecting teams for the final performance, called the Self-Made Test, was shown. This test required the I-Landers to independently create a performance, including song choice, members, stage concept, and outfits, showcasing their ability to handle pressure and display their idol potential.
Two units of six contestants each were formed, with the centres of each unit deciding the members and song choice. The centres, Koko and Bang Jeemin, were announced as the top two ranked contestants. Koko, ranked first, chose Jiyoon, Kim Sujung, Choi Jungeun, Son Juwon, and Nam Yuju, and selected “Latata” by (G)I-DLE as their song. Bang Jeemin, ranked second, selected Fuko, Ryu Sarang, Jeong Saebi, Mai, and Kim Gyuri, and chose Into The New World.
Both teams performed admirably, but in the end, I-Mate’s decisive vote saved Bang Jaemin, securing him the first spot in the finals. Following closely was Choi Jungeun in second place, chosen by the audience for third place was Yoon Jiyoon, the last contestant to advance to the finals through audience vote. Unfortunately, Kim Sujung and Son Juwon were eliminated.

In the next episode, we will see the final 10 contestants who have been chosen by the I-MATE vote and the producer’s choice. They will take the stage one last time, and from this performance, the final group to debut will be determined. The final will also be broadcast live. Voting is open on the Mnet Plus app and will remain open until July 4, 2024, at 12 PM KST. Make sure to vote for your favourite contestant to help them achieve their big debut in Teddy’s girl group.
They will also participate in their final test, where contestants will perform two new songs titled DRIP and FAKE IT. This test, known as the ‘Produce by TEDDY’ test, will feature the girls divided into two groups, each group performing one of the songs.

The 2024 Mnet Global Audition I-LAND 2 kicked off with 24 exceptionally talented contestants. From this impressive lineup, the top 10 contenders have emerged, selected by both producers and audience members. These finalists, competing for the ultimate debut round, are Jeong Saebi, Fuko, Yoon Jiyoon, Ryu Sarang, Choi Jungeun, Mai, Nam Yuju, Bang Jeemin, Koko, and Kim Gyuri.
