Kill Me Heal Me (2015)

Starring Ji Sung, Hwang Jung-eum and Park Seo-joon in lead roles, this drama will heal you and destroy you in different ways! Itaewon Class (2020)
In a story of love and revenge, this Korean drama is a heartwarming watch that touches you warmly. Park Sae-ro-yi’s painful past and his excruciating present circumstances will make you root for him. His unyielding values, even when it works against him, are admirable as it is sometimes frustrating. However, even during the latter times, you can’t help but be drawn to his ethics. The chemistry between the different characters is infectious, and the general vibes of the series will leave you feeling pumped and hopeful to run after your dreams as well. There’s also the revenge plot that, after all the episodes are over, will fill you with a sense of achievement.
The story follows Park Sae-ro-yi’s quest to get his small pub, DanBam, off the ground as he struggles to take revenge against the Jangga Group for killing his father and putting him in jail. Although he is someone with unending confidence, he is still a terrible businessman, and that’s when he meets Kim Da-mi’s Jo Yi-seo, whose wit and strong business acumen help him get his business off the ground with surprising results!

She Was Pretty (2015)
This captivating K-drama is a rollercoaster of emotions and romance. It’s a series about finding your inner beauty and self-esteem. It’s extremely relatable, and Kim Hye-jin’s journey is both warm and heartbreaking and stresses the importance of a good personality rather than a good exterior. Park Seo-joon plays Hye-jin’s childhood friend Ji Sung-joon, and his chemistry with Hwang Jung-eum is undeniable as it is filled with love, humour and warmth. There are moments in the series that will make you fall in love with the leads as you root for Hye-jin and Sung-joon to find each other once more and fall in love. It’s truly like a warm, familiar embrace.
