Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3: The Script Leaves Stars Emotional

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 is the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film that fans are eagerly waiting for. But, looks like the film is going to emotionally engage us more than anything. In fact, reports are that two of the star cast members were left in tears at the reading of the film’s script.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3: Which actors got emotional?

Actors Karen Gillan, who is best known for playing Nebula in the MCU and, Pom Klementieff, who plays Mantis were all teary-eyed reading the script for the upcoming film.

About the script Gillan noted-

“We read it in the same room together, and then looked at each other and we were in floods of tears. so emotional. You’re learning more about existing characters and on a deeper level. I’m really excited at exploring Nebula, post-Thanos.”

Karen Gillan could not take the liberty to reveal the script. However, James Gunn who has previously directed the Guardians of the Galaxy instalments did tease the audience that the upcoming film will see the death of one major character.

Given that actor Dave Bautista has mentioned that this movie will mark his last appearance as Drax, fans are speculating that the death of a major character nods to the end of Drax’s story. Some fans are convinced the logo of the film hints at Drax being killed off.

“I would love to continue the journey of the character. I don’t know what that would really look like without James or Dave, but I really like playing her, so I’m not eager to finish.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 is scheduled to release on May 5, 2023, in theatres. The cast will flaunt the faces of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Debicki and, Sean Gunn.
