Ghostbusters Afterlife Trailer: Are You Ready To Uncover The Past To Protect The Future?

A surprise prolific sneak peek by producer Ivan Reitman and director Jason Reitman at the New York Comic-Con last week left the exhibitors as well as fans excited for the Ghostbusters Afterlife film to come on the big screen. From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. The film is written by Gil Kenan & Jason Reitman.

Sony Pictures have dropped the official International trailer for the film and it is every bit as promising as its predecessors. The film stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Annie Potts and Paul Rudd. Bill Murray is going to reprise in his role in the Ghostbusters universe.

Ghostbusters Afterlife: The Legacy Continues

This film will serve as the sequel to Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989). However, in the franchise, it is the fourth instalment given there is a 2016 Ghostbusters film.

In Ghostbusters Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. This film is definitely tied to the original films as the secrets that remained unsolved in those films will resurface here.

The trailer shows apparitions breaching the border between life and death as they continue to roam around the city. We also get a look at the iconic Terror Dogs returning, which are possibly the most horrific aspects of the Ghostbusters Universe. The new generation is going to have to deal with these horrific creatures and so much more. But, looks like they will manage just fine to save the day, eh?

According to Sony Pictures Entertainment India Ghostbusters: Afterlife will exclusively release in Indian cinemas on 19 November 2021!
