Fuh Se Fantasy Season 2 Episode 2 Recap
Rhea visits a hill station and stays at her cousin, Sumi’s place to distract herself from a recent breakup. Her family keeps nagging her to get back with her ex-boyfriend Amrish as they believe the breakup’s reason is petty. Rhea, on the other hand, knows that she needs a mature man and not a guy like Amrish, who acts like a teenager. Rhea jokes to Sumi that she will seek a man in his 50s and have a good time.
We’re then introduced to a middle-aged man Sahil, the owner of a pastry cafe at the hill station. When Rhea visits the cafe and has an argument with Amrish on a video call, she notices Sahil and watches him with awe. Sahil tells her that he didn’t eavesdrop, but since she was loud, he understood about her breakup. He tells her that the bill is on the house and leaves.
Rhea explains to Sumi about him and expresses how she loves his personality and physique. Her sister confirms that Sahil is an anti-social but wonderful pastry chef. The next day, Rhea visits the cafe and has a conversation with Sahil about his French pastries. She simply calls him borderline ugly to catch his attention. The two slowly bond over food since Rhea is a famous food vlogger and he is a great chef.

As time flies, Sahil opens up about how he and his wife departed ways and had a slow but strong closure. This makes Rhea understand that her choices weren’t wrong and that she deserves time to heal from her breakup. Right then, Sahil tells her that he is celebrating his 50th birthday the coming weekend, making Rhea burst out laughing as she reminisces about the conversation she had with Sumi.

Rhea states to her cousin that she feels nothing wrong in loving a 50-year-old man. Her cousin, Sumi, gives her a piece of advice and leaves. Rhea then receives a phone call from her mother regarding her college acceptance letter. This brings her back to the reality where she has to leave back to Bombay, prepare her documents, and move to college.
Rhea goes to the cafe early in the morning and has a talk with Sahil. She opens up about how she had to endure her previous relationship with Amrish for the sake of her family. Rhea breaks down, and Sahil consoles her. Rhea then expresses her feelings for Sahil and goes in for a kiss. However, Sahil stops her and tells her that her choices are hasty and that she will regret them. He asks when she is leaving back to Bombay, and she replies saying, “the next morning.”

That night, Sahil spends his time in his cafe kitchen, working on his new cake designs. Unable to get Rhea out of his mind, he starts destroying his cakes out of fury. Just then, Rhea drops by and tells him that closure needs time and that she won’t regret her choices with him. They both have a passionate one-night stand where they involve food play.
The next morning, Rhea and Sahil take a picture in front of the bedsheet they both used the previous night. The couple depart their own ways, and the episode ends with Rhea posting a picture of them on her social media, writing that some connections don’t last long, but its impact does.
Fuh Se Fantasy Season 2 Episode 2 Review
The concept of an old man and a young girl having a sexual relationship won’t ever sit well, to be honest. Especially, when the girl is going through a breakup and using the old pal as a rebound, why won’t it give the icks? Of course, it will. Both Milind Soman and Diksha Singh lacked a lot of chemistry. Wasting so much food for a sexual scene was so unnecessary and wasn’t artistic. Honestly, the writer could have written such a beautiful story using the characters, but they decided to let a perverted concept play in.

Since Sahil is a grown man, he could have guided the young girl by helping her understand her true inner beauty and life’s greatness. Rather than that, he ended up in bed with her, only to wake up the next day and pretend like nothing happened and bid her farewell. Now this is why so many meaningful stories end up without a platform to air so that viewers can watch these sorts of nonsense shows.
The only best part about this particular episode is the locations. The beautiful foggy hill station, and a stunning cafe with beautiful architecture, made the episode look pleasant. Apart from that, the whole episode was torture to watch.
