Fresh: All You Need to Know About Hulu’s Upcoming Thriller Film

Hulu has been impressing us with thrillers for some time now with No Exit releasing at the end of February that captured fans, we have Fresh to mark the beginning to the March weekends that we can spend obsessing over a movie. The film’s trailer and poster are eccentric and, have audiences hooked on what is to come. With a star cast and, plot that says us everything but, nothing at all the film might just remind some of us about the HBO Max limited series The Girl Before.

Fresh marks the directorial debut of Mimi Cave and, is based on a screenplay by Lauryn Kahn. The film has a panel of acclaimed producers that includes Adam McKay, Kevin J. Messick and Maeve Cullinan. The production companies for this movie involves Legendary Pictures and Hyperobject Industries and, is getting distributed by Searchlight Pictures. Normal People’s Daisy Edgar-Jones stars as Noa with Marvel’s Winter Soldier Sebastian Stan as Steve, both of these critically acclaimed actors headline the film. The other cast members include Jonica T. Gibbs as Millie, Charlotte Le Bon as Ann, Dayo Okeniyi as Paul, Andrea Bang as Penny and Brett Dier as Chad.

Fresh Plot/Synopsis

Hulu’s description of the film reads: “The horrors of modern dating seen through one young woman’s defiant battle to survive her new boyfriend’s unusual appetites.” The genre for the film is described as a comedy thriller.

The film is arriving on Hulu on March 4, 2022. It will have a runtime of 114 minutes. The cinematography for the film is by Pawel Pogorzelski, with editing by Martin Pensa and music by Alex Somers.
