Framed A Sicilian Murder Mystery Season 2 Ending Explained

Salvo and Valentino are making their way to work when they are stopped by a man running into their car. When they look closer, they find Padre Santissimo, the man who had made their life a living hell last season. He was accompanied by Tonino, who pointed a gun at the duo. After multiple pleas and an offer to take everyone to Salvo’s home, they carry Santissimo in their van and drive past police officers, ready to check their vehicle for illegal products.

Fortunately, since Valentino has been engaged to the police commissioner, people don’t stop to question him too much. They go to Salvo’s grandfather’s home, which is only occupied because Salvo and his wife separated after she cheated on him with Dr. Gambino. He still hasn’t forgiven her but cannot help missing her even after her transgressions. Right now, neither his friends nor his family know about this predicament of loneliness.

At the house, Tonino asks Salvo to get a doctor for Padre who can wake him after he was left unconscious. These meticulous Mafia gang members are real sticklers for time and threaten Valentino’s life if he returns late. Meanwhile, the police commissioner, Agata, has been trying to reach her boyfriend forever, but his not picking up her calls leads her to think he doesn’t want to move in with her or meet her son.

When the two men do go to meet Agata, she is angry because it was supposed to be a date for just the two of them, with Valentino meeting her son, Robertino. However, the whole conversation shifts to them discussing Ester, Salvo’s ex-wife and their separation. Robertino comes in and explains that Salvo really misses Ester, and he is doing nothing about it. Agata sets them up for a date without Salvo knowing.

However, after the events of the kidnapping and murders make their light on television, the gang members are spooked and afraid that a mystery member is killing their colleagues and friends. Even two civilians were shot at the crime scene where Gambino died. Things have been heating up for the duo. Additionally, Valentino’s mother was also taken hostage by Padre Santissimo, who threatened to kill her if he and Salvo didn’t do what the ‘Holy Father’ said.

To get some more help, the Mafia members at Salvo’s house decided to get their colleague out of jail. This colleague will help Padre with Gambino’s bank accounts. Since the tokens were stolen, they cannot access the accounts. The thief knew that really well and decided to use that as a bargaining chip to keep himself safe from all suspicion. Half the money goes to him while the other goes to Padre. All the money in Gambino’s account is actually stolen from Padre, and after the thief finds that out, he starts blackmailing Gambino.

The thief turns out to be the police officer, LaRusso, who has been running the team trying to solve Gambino’s murder. The blame was all over the place, including on Valentino and Salvo, who were accidentally at the crime scene at the time. Padre, however, has been committing so many crimes and is literally Mafia that the police want to catch him now. His crimes are further extrapolated when LaRusso details why he has been skimming money off the top.

Padre took Agata hostage, and now the police even knew where they were because of Valentino and Salvo. They bring together a team of agents and storm the safe houses they have been inhabiting. Even though Tonino and Padre Santissimo take a tunnel to escape the police, they are caught by law enforcement. The street literally rejoiced by dancing and cheering for the police.
