The episode starts with a flashback showing how I-soo agreed to join the police force. His elder brother knows that I-soo will agree if it means to save his elder brother’s name. When Seung-ju pretends to tell the real truth about him manipulating the story of his brother, I-soo walks in wearing the cop uniform and pleases his elder brother. Kang-hyun and Jun-young ignore I-soo but he doesn’t bother about it and throws a dinner feast at the police station, disrupting the pattern. He also replaces his chair with a gaming chair and designs his desk into a gaming desk. Kang-hyun gets mad at his action and demands the higher authorities to give I-soo a desk duty but they simply tell her that if they need to do that she will have to admit the truth regarding falsely arresting I-soo and resign her job.

To make I-soo himself walk away from the job, she gives him the most boring tasks but thanks to his influence, he easily finishes all of them including finding a dementia person. This makes Kang-hyun irritated as he keeps finding a way. They then get a murder case and they all go leaving I-soo to come on his own. To their surprise, he easily goes to the restricted area due to his influence while the three cops are asked to stay out. Later they join him but do not allow him near the corpse.

The three cops find that the victim is a model from a famous agency and believe she was strangled to death due to the marks. They then start the autopsy. The same day, Kang-hyun takes I-soo to the agency and asks him to talk to everyone and find a clue. She goes to the CEO and gets some details. I-soo finds something but Kang-hyun doesn’t bother and leaves him on the street.

He meets his friend and vents about it. His friend says they’re jealous that he might also find the culprit this time. This makes I-soo take up the challenge to find the murderer and he bets to Kang-hyun. At the autopsy room, he sees the corpse of Ina and starts to have a panic attack where he imagines himself drowning and suffocating. He however plays it off when Kang-hyun tries to wake him to senses. When they get the report they find certain clues.

At the station, they watch CCTV footage where a man is seen walking out of the yacht alone after going with Ina inside it before. I-soo identifies and tries to tell about the rumour he heard at the agency but the cops don’t bother. He then recognises the place in another photo and straightaway goes there. He confronts the man Taeyong, whom he knows and fights him. Kang-hyun arrives a little late and notices that I-soo has found the man but trouble starts. Taeyong’s men start attacking and it’s now I-soo and Kang-hyun’s time to get rid of them all.

Flex X Cop Episode 2 Review

The second episode is absolutely amazing. Ahn Bo-hyun and Park Ji-hyun chemistry is already chemistrying. The way they’re irritating each other but still look out feels natural. The humour is highly loaded and it’s so nice to see Ahn Bo-hyun as a rich brat who can go to any place and has so much influence everywhere. Seems like there’s more to uncover about his childhood and it’s yet to be presented. His brother truly loves him but we still don’t know whether it’s real.
