Fire Force Season 3 Episode 6 Recap

The episode opens with a glimpse into Captain Burns’ childhood, highlighting his deep spiritual devotion. Unlike the other children who spent their time playing, Burns was consistently found in prayer, demonstrating a strong connection to his faith from an early age. During this flashback, a younger Joker confronts Burns about his beliefs, challenging the purpose of his prayers, especially given his scepticism toward the empire.
It becomes evident that everything changed for Burns after his encounter with the Adolla realm. That experience reshaped his convictions, and now, instead of praying in blind faith, he is determined to serve the mysterious being he encountered. He’s unwavering in his mission, just as Shinra is determined not to let him succeed. This sets the stage for an intense showdown between Shinra and Burns, both battling with incredible resolve.

Joker plays a crucial role in this confrontation, stepping in to support Shinra and enabling him to harness enhanced blue flames, hotter and more powerful than ever before. The force of this new attack pushes even Captain Burns to his limit, forcing him to unleash his ultimate form through Voltage Nova, nearly overwhelming Shinra.
Fire Force Season 3 Episode 7 Review

This episode begins with the entrance of Captain Benimaru in a strange mask. He used it so that he could hide his identity, but everybody could already tell who he actually was. When he comes, the course of the fight completely changes, and it is obvious that he can defeat the enemies on his own.
However, even he realises that Dragon is someone who is much stronger than others and can be a potential danger to everyone. Thus, Benimaru swiftly helps all the members of Company 8 escape from the area. But the most alarming aspect of this is that Haumea already knew that the situation would lead to this.
After their escape, everyone at Company 8 takes shelter with Benimaru’s company, and Captain Obi discloses the problem at hand. He tells them how the holy sol temple and the Evangelists have joined forces, and thus, Company 8 got blamed for everything.

He also rightfully predicts that the murder of Captain Burns will now be pinned on Company 8, and that’s exactly what happens. However, there is much mystery regarding the St. Raffles Convent from where both Hibana and Iris come, and Hibana reaches there to conduct her own investigation about the strange fire and the Doppelgangers.
There, even Karim and Huo join Hibana and manage to find a secret basement. When they enter, the first thing they notice is the fire that destroyed the convent had no effect on this place. The things that get disclosed here are extremely shocking and it is something that you need to find by watching for yourself.
Verdict

Today’s episode was really good as it dive deep into the secret of Doppelgangers and the fire that broke out in the convent. However, there are still elements that need to be described to understand the entire situation with the Evangelist group. Here, other characters got more spotlight than the protagonist, Shinra, and that is something that I personally preferred a lot.
