Fire Force Season 3 Episode 10: Still

The episode follows Arthur on his whimsical quest to find the perfect material for his next sword. To keep him motivated, Vulcan creates a fake heroic journey, making Arthur believe he’s on an epic adventure. However, Arthur’s imagination runs wild, and his path leads him straight into the Nether.

Although Vulcan and the others make every effort to stop him, Arthur, being his usual unpredictable self, charges ahead. What follows is even more bizarre. Arthur encounters his long-lost parents. Arthur genuinely believes they are adventurers, carrying out a secret mission. But it becomes clear to the audience that they had actually abandoned him, fleeing from debt and leaving their son behind. Fortunately, or unfortunately, Arthur remains blissfully unaware of the harsh truth, brushing it off with his usual naive optimism.

In the end, Arthur finally discovers the rare material he was after. Vulcan then forges a remarkable new blade for him, one that Arthur now believes to be a magical weapon. With this new sword, it’s likely that his combat abilities will see a major boost.

Fire Force Season 3 Episode 10: Still

This episode opens with Sho thinking about Shinra after he meets him with the Adolla link. Here, we see that when he met Shinra for the first time, he really did feel a brotherly bond that Sho is still confused about. He does not know what kind of warmth he felt then and would like to know the answers to these questions by meeting him again. Thus, he tries to get out of their hideout, but on his way, he starts to meet people every time. Finally, Arrow seeks him out, and Sho threatens Arrow to guide him outside.

Weirdly enough, Arrow tells him that threatening her to let him leave is not needed because she is willing to help him in any way possible. They finally make it outside, and Sho goes on a quest to meet Shinra. On the other hand, Shinra wakes up from his long slumber and attends Company 8’s meeting to decide what they must do, now that they are branded as traitors. In this meeting, Hibana also attends and tells everyone how the great cataclysm is coming soon.

Apart from the serious discussions, we also get some comedy elements. Here, Hibana tries to openly flirt with Shinra and Iris turns up the chaos by trying to pair every other man with Hibana. Not only that, but Scope comes out of the ground and joins Shinra. After that, he goes on and on about some weird story that does not have any link to the main plot.

However, Scope finally discloses some important information about the great cataclysm. Apparently, everything that is needed for the great cataclysm is already in place, and the world and Adolla will soon become one.

Today’s episode was another reminder that the problems are coming. I did not see as much development as I would have liked, but at the same time, I enjoyed the comedy here. Hopefully, we will enter into a deeper section of the story and get to witness the main event soon.
