Fairy Tail: 100 Years Episode 7 Recap

While the situation has settled, Natsu remains dissatisfied with how the battle unfolded. He’s troubled by the loss of control after absorbing Ignia’s flames and can’t recall much of what happened. However, he is deeply grateful to Lucy, who was the only one able to bring him back from his destructive frenzy.
The people of Guiltina, initially in disbelief, come to terms with the fact that they were once human and transformed into fish due to Mercphobia’s powers. They mourn the loss of their water dragon god, whom they revered deeply. But in an unexpected twist, it’s revealed that Mercphobia isn’t actually dead. Instead, he has been turned back into a human, allowing him to finally live peacefully among his people without the constant fear of being hunted for his powers.
We are also introduced to the Guild Master of Diabolos in this episode. He exudes a more menacing and ruthless presence than any of the guild members we’ve seen so far. Meanwhile, Touka, who has already bested the Fairy Tail members, is now on the hunt for Natsu and his companions, determined to defeat them as well.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 8 Review And Recap

Today’s episode was a good one for all the shippers as we saw some much-awaited lovey-dovey moments between the leads. In the last episode, we see how Erza finds her doppelganger Elkis, who works at the entertainment guild Fairy Nail. All the members here look exactly like the members of the Fairy Tail guild. Here, we also get Natsu and Lucy’s look-alikes called Nakku and Lusha, along with a version of Gray called Gren and a twin of Juvia called Juvina.
The only difference is that everyone here has a vastly different character, and all of them have different professions. Nakku is an actor, Lusha is his manager, Gren, on the other hand, is a pole dancer, and Juvina is a topless dancer. Similarly, others also have their place in the entertainment industry.

One thing to be noted is that the main characters of this Guild, especially Nakku with Lusha, and Gren with Juvina, are very much in love, contrary to their original versions.
Elkis, however, does not seem to have a doppelganger of Jellal in her life. She also seemed to struggle with the concept of love, which she must master before her upcoming stage play. The first half thus relieves some stress for us fans who are still miffed about the fact that Natsu and Lucy did not end up together when the original manga ended. At least we got some confirmation regarding the Juvia x Gray ship for now.
But that was not the highlight of the episode, but rather the sudden arrival of the wood dragon God in a very unexpected way. After Natsu and his team discover his whereabouts, they fall into a different kind of dilemma, as due to the sheer scale and position of the dragon, it is very difficult to seal it without harming others.

Verdict
This episode started on a very light note and made us feel that it would be a happy-go-lucky journey. However, towards the end, we understand just how big of a problem the white wizards can cause for our heroes. The mystery about Touka and what happened with the Fairy Tail guild will be explored in the next episode.
