Fairy Tail: 100 Years Episode 6 Recap

This episode kicks off with a light-hearted scene featuring Natsu, Lucy, and Happy. The focus then shifts to a dire situation where Natsu and his friends find themselves in a nightmarish battle. Mercphobia, the water dragon god, is wreaking havoc without restraint, amplifying his destruction by lifting the ocean into the sky. This floating sea allows him to demolish buildings and drown anyone in his path.
Despite Natsu and Happy’s efforts, they struggle to reach Mercphobia due to his overwhelming power. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, a new and crucial character makes an entrance—another of the five dragon gods, a fire dragon who bears a striking resemblance to Igneel. This raises questions about his connection to Natsu’s adoptive father. Are they related, or is there another link between them? The answers to these questions unfold in this episode, making it a must-watch.
The fire dragon’s arrival hints at a future showdown where he might be Natsu’s ultimate challenge. Natsu will need to grow stronger to face this formidable opponent, and this time, he’ll have to do it without relying on his friends. We also find that this dragon is the real son of Igneel, making the situation more complicated.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 7 Review And Recap

This episode started off pretty tame as we see the aftermath of the intense battle between Mercphobia and Natsu’s team. Everything seems peaceful, but Natsu is still not happy about how things went in the battle. He hates the fact that he lost his control and does not remember most of the things after he ate Ignia’s flames. However, he is extremely apologetic and thankful towards Lucy, who was the only one who could stop his rampage.
The people of Guiltina, at first, couldn’t believe that they used to be humans and turned to fish because of Mercphobia’s powers. They also lamented the death of their water dragon God, for whom they have endless faith and respect. But in a surprising turn of events, we see Mercphobia is not actually dead but has just turned into a human. He can finally live with the people he loves and not be hunted for his powers anymore.

In this episode, we also got to see the Guild master of Diabolos. He seems more terrifying than the other members that we have seen, and he appears to be more ruthless as well. Plus, Touka, who has defeated all the members of Fairy Tail, is on her pursuit to find Natsu and others so that she can defeat them as well.
In this episode, we also learn about the other four Dragons, who are guaranteed to be way more powerful than Mercphobia. From Mercphobia, we also derived some information about each of them, but not enough. He only knew how to find the wood dragon God, who is also the largest dragon in the world.
Thus, from now on, Natsu and company are off on their new journey, where they meet more interesting people in the quest to find the wood dragon.

Verdict
Today’s episode was a much-needed breather after the intense altercation of the previous episode. We saw many funny bits here, and I loved the lighthearted tone till the end. But things are only just starting, and we will see more action in future episodes.
