Fairy Tail: 100 Years Episode 11 Recap

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 12 Review Still No Resolution

The episode opens with the looming threat of both Diablos and the White Witch Guild. As Natsu and his group battle their former Fairy Tail guildmates, their fight is interrupted by members of Diablos, who have come to the town on a dragon-hunting mission. This time, Diablos brings even more members, showcasing their immense power. Early on, Wendy finds herself up against Nebaru, who traps her in his webs.

Elsewhere, Lucy finds herself in a precarious situation. She’s up against one of Fairy Tail’s strongest, Mira, while simultaneously being targeted by Madmole and Skullion. Things get worse when Lissana captures Lucy after Mira is distracted by a fight with Skullion. It appears that Lissana successfully turns Lucy into a puppet for the White Witch Guild.

Natsu is also in serious trouble, battling an opponent who isn’t even alive. Wraith, a ghostly dragon slayer, can only be seen by a select few and nearly devours Natsu’s soul. In the process, Natsu is transported to a serene, heaven-like realm, where he encounters his brother Zeref, Mavis, two children, and a large dragon. But why are they there, and why is Natsu seeing them as he nears death?

The episode continues with a shocking conclusion to Natsu’s intense battle. However, the highlight of this episode is Lucy’s clever plan, which might just be the key to saving everyone.

The orb situation is getting out of hand as we see Wendy struggling against Nebaru. Not only that, but he also manages to destroy one of the orbs, making the situation worse than before. On the other hand, Laxus is against Kiria, who tries to reason with Laxus about them being on the same side. However, she also proclaims that she attacked Laxus because he looked tasty, and this starts a battle between them as well.

Somewhere else, Erza is in a weird situation with Jelal, who is acting completely out of his character. She finally captures him even despite being embarrassed by his antics. But the most interesting face-off was between Natsu and his gramps Makarov. Wraith has actually possessed Makarov, and through him, he tries to attack Natsu by combining both their powers. Here, even Wraith is surprised by the perfect compatibility he discovers with Makarov, which should be impossible between non-relatives. Only later, he finds out that he does share some history with Makarov, and this helps him decide what to do with Natsu and others.

We also see Cana, who was previously thought to be brainwashed by the white mage, was actually normal all along. Apparently, she had been too drunk for that kind of manipulation, and now she also joins Natsu and others to bring the situation back to normal. However, it will not be that easy to get everyone, as Laxus is now turning against Erza after defeating Kiria.

Towards the end, the situation is still nowhere near good because many others are there that need to be defeated. Hopefully, Natsu will be able to protect the final orb as he intends and not fall for the tricks of the white mage.

Verdict

Today’s episode again was interesting and engaging as we saw many small battles. The animation was, as usual, good, and the pacing of this show has been consistently great.
