Fairy Tail: 100 Years Episode 9 Recap

Touka’s sinister plan extends to claiming Natsu and the others under her influence as well. Her brainwashing powers are so strong that Fairy Tail members have begun fighting each other, following their new master’s orders, as seen in Mirajane’s case.
Fortunately, with Wendy and Gray’s arrival, Natsu, Lucy, and Erza managed to escape, though it was a gruelling effort. This is when Juvia uncovers Touka’s true objective: she aims to gain control over the five dragon gods and wield their power. Touka attempted to manipulate Mercephobia but was thwarted by Natsu. Now, she’s shifting tactics, using the powerful Fairy Tail Guild as a means to capture the dragon gods. To achieve this, she infiltrated the guild and is systematically taking control of its members.
However, there is hope for our heroes. If they can defeat each brainwashed member individually, Wendy can restore them to their original selves. The opportunity arises, but the challenge remains: who among them can take on some of Fairy Tail’s strongest, turned foes? Amidst all this tension, Natsu, ever eager for a fight, is thrilled at the chance to battle his comrades.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 10 Review And Recap

Last time, we saw Natsu and his team go their separate ways to stop the rest of the Fairy Tail members. Lucy was facing Mirajane and her people, Natsu was facing Gajeel, and Gray was going against the Thunder God Tribe. In this episode, we see the powers of the Leo and Virgo combi Star Dress Mix when Lucy delivers her blows against Lisanna. She quickly defeats Lisanna but could not do much damage to the other 2.
Natsu and Gajeel, on the other hand, are at a standstill as both incurred damage, with Gajeel almost on the verge of defeat. That is when Levy comes and tries to protect Gajeel. Thankfully, Natsu stops himself because he remembers how Levy is pregnant with Gajeel’s child. Levy picks this opportunity and successfully sends Natsu away, saving her beloved.

Gray was having a hard time against Thunder God Tribe as well, as he’s the only one who will have to protect both himself and Juvia. Juvia can’t lend any powers, and thus, he takes on the role of protecting her. But he quickly falls into Freed’s trap when he restricts the use of ice magic. That is when Gray unleashes his Devil Slayer Magic, and an intense battle ensues.
But that is not all. One of the strongest characters, Erza, also comes face to face against Jellal, who should not be her rival at all. She prepares herself to not show any mercy for his sake and defeat him as soon as possible, but that is when she realises just how weird he has become after his brainwashing. This segment was pretty funny because even Erza agrees that something really wrong happened to him for him to become so unabashed in front of her.

Verdict
However, perhaps the most interesting aspect of this episode is the sudden arrival of a new faction of enemies towards the end. I did not expect that our characters would fall into more problems. It is still very unclear how Natsu and his friends will be able to come out of the clutches of the white mage and the new foes.
