Today, May 20, 2023, is the last day for EXO SC Back To Back Fancon which has been in full swing since the beginning of this year. EXO SC is the subunit of the popular K-pop boy group EXO, and it includes Chanyeol and Sehun. They formed the unit back in 2018 with the release of their debut single, We Young. Since then, the duo has so far released two albums, What a Life in 2019 and 1 Billion Views in 2020.
The subunit has been on a mini-tour across various locations within the Asian continent. The concert started off in Jakarta, Indonesia on February 4, 2023. Later, more dates were added, and the concert was extended to a few more locations, including Kuala Lumpur on May 14, 2023, Singapore on May 17, 2023, and the last stop in Manila, Philippines on May 20, 2023.
Needless to say that the duo has a huge fan following across the world. However, their demand is exceptionally big in Asian countries. The concert venues were packed with attendees for all the four shows. Many fans were also unable to book the tickets due to it being sold out immediately after the release on the website. Moreover, this is Chanyeol’s first tour after his discharge from the mandatory enlistment in the South Korean army.
EXO SC BACK TO BACK FANCON Setlist
The duo performed various songs from both their albums during the concert. Apart from performing songs from their albums, they also occasionally gave impromptu performances of their group songs, singles and even covers of songs from other artists. Some songs that appeared on the setlist during the shows are: What a Life, Rodeo Station, 1 Billion Views, We Young, Closer to You, Borderline, Roller Coaster, Just Us 2, Telephone, and Fly Away. Additionally, Chanyeol also performed his viral single, Yours and a cover of the song Creep by Radiohead.
Besides performing, the duo also actively participated in various games on stage. Both artists shared a few moments interacting with the audience and actively included them in the conversations. They were also mindful of learning the different cultures and popular trends of each country. As usual, the audience and fans were not only swooned by their breathtaking visuals but also by their bright and vibrant personalities. Within a few minutes, the hashtags related to them became trending topics on the platform.
