Drag Me To Dinner Trailer reveals an upcoming reality TV competition series, where the drag queens will face off against each other in the pair of twos. It is said to be an unscripted, fourth-wall-breaking, unapologetic sendup of traditional shows which will follow its own course without following a strict format.
The main premise is to throw the best dinner parties ever, according to the themes given to them. Based on the kind of food & drinks served, the decor and the overall vibe of the party, the judges consisting of Neil Patrick Harris, Bianca Del Rio, and Haneefah Wood will decide the winner of the episode. While Murray Hill will host and show producer David Burtka will reveal the themes of each one.
There are said to be at least 40 drag queens competing on the show which includes Alaska, Alexis Mateo, Bebe Zahara Benet, BenDeLaCreme, Biqtch Puddin’, Chelsea Piers, Darienne Lake, Detox, Gigi Goode, Ginger Minj, Heidi N Closet, Heklina, Jackie Beat, Jaida Essence Hall, Jasmine Rice LaBeija, Jinkx Monsoon, Kiki Ball-Change and Kim Chi.
Along with Latrice Royale, Manila Luzon, Marti Gould Cummings, Mayhem Miller, Meatball, Merrie Cherry, Morgan McMichaels, Mrs Kasha Davis, Naomi Smalls, Nina West, Peaches Christ, Peachez Iman Cummings, Pixie Aventura, Raja, Rhea Litré, Selma Nilla, Sherry Vine, Symone, Thorgy Thor, Trinity the Tuck, Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, and Willam.
In the trailer, right from the beginning things are not going in order, as the judges fail to have a unanimous cheer together. BenDeLaCreme and Jinx Monsoon are shown as one team that will be competing against other teams like Alaska and William, Raja & Detox, and many others. Followed by some chaotic visuals of cooking the food that they will be serving, just like their impeccable looks.
Having to take care of the entertainment aspect of the party as well, will surely bring out some of the best and hilarious moments, making them the life of the party. However, cooking and drinking might go a bit wrong, if not careful. With some healthy competition and some exorbitant-looking parties, the show is set to be a glamorous and addictive series, we will be binge-watching soon.
