Dr Stone Season 4 Episode 11 Recap

This episode wastes no time diving straight into an intense aerial battle. Ryusui and Stanley engage in a high-stakes dogfight, each trying to bring down the other’s plane mid-air. Despite Stanley’s extensive experience as a combat pilot, allowing him to maneuver effortlessly through the skies, Ryusui, who has far less flying experience manages to hold his own, making the fight far from one-sided. His greatest advantage? The presence of Senku was seated right behind him.

Though severely injured, Senku insists on joining Ryusui in the cockpit. This battle isn’t just about skill; outmaneuvering Stanley requires strategy, and Senku’s scientific ingenuity is their best bet. Lacking the firepower of a machine gun, they resort to a clever alternative, like concocting a makeshift weapon capable of stopping Stanley in his tracks.

However, an unexpected attack from Xeno complicates matters. While Ryusui and Senku battle in the sky, Xeno’s crew launches an assault from below, using their newly constructed submarine to cripple the Kingdom of Science’s ship. To make matters worse, enemy forces armed with machine guns storm the vessel, intent on capturing as many hostages as possible.

At first glance, it seems like Senku and Ryusui are gaining the upper hand in the aerial battle. But just when victory appears within reach, an unforeseen twist shifts the tides.

Dr Stone Season 4 Episode 12: Still

Dr Stone definitely ended with a bang, as things were pretty unexpected, and I really did not see this kind of conclusion coming. After Xeno gets captured by the fighting squad of the Kingdom of Science, he has very little choice other than to surrender. He also gets pretty amazed with Chrome, who is the first non-petrified human whom Xeno meets.

We also see exactly how they managed to infiltrate Xeno’s base without causing any commotion. Now there is only one thing they must do, which is to quickly return with Xeno and meet Senku and others. However, their escape plan had flaws and somehow Xeno and Chrome ended up alone for a small amount of time.

Here, Xeno tries to manipulate Chrome and recruit him as his subordinate so that he switches sides. But obviously Chrome disagrees and showcases just how much he loves science wholeheartedly.

The meeting between Xeno and Senku is also pretty emotional as we see Xeno being shocked yet relieved that he is alive. This proves that Xeno never really wanted Senku to die and had to order his assassination so that he could complete his goals. However, the highlight of this episode is definitely the conclusion where the real plan of Senku comes to light.

Senku knew Xeno’s people would never agree to a diplomatic exchange of victims. Thus, the next best scenario for him was to make the people who had already been caught have their own mission while he, along with his captive Xeno and others, embarked on a new journey. This time, the destination will be South America.

Today’s episode was the best of this season, and it definitely portrayed just how intelligent Senku is, even when it comes to manipulation tactics. He skilfully managed to avoid a large-scale battle and even got what he wanted. Now, his next adventure will begin in South America, as from here, the petrification beam has started to affect the entire world.
