Dr Stone Season 3 Episode 7 Review: The story keeps getting more interesting and intense with each passing episode. However, the group is met with another major problem that threatens the survival of humanity.

Dr Stone Season 3 Overview

Dr Stone (ドクターストーン) is an animation series based on the manga of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by the South Korean artist Boichi. After a blinding green light strikes the Earth and petrifies mankind around the world—turning every single human into stone, humanity goes back in time. Years of civilisation have disappeared, and the only hope to rebuild it is in the hands of a brilliant scientist, Senku.

From studios of TMS Entertainment, the show is produced by TOHO Animation, Shueisha and 8PAN. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

The new episode picks up from where the previous one ended, and the Kingdom of Science is all set to find the treasure chest. The group is so driven to find it because it contains the metal, Platinum, that will allow them to re-create the Elixier of Life and bring every person back to normal who has been petrified. However, in their endeavour, they are met with an unknown enemy that turns half of the group into stone yet again.

One of the most impressive aspects of the series is its focus on science and meticulous attention to detail. Each episode is filled with ingenious inventions and scientific explanations, making the series not only entertaining but also educational. From simple tools and techniques to advanced technological advancements, the anime showcases the wonders of human innovation. This emphasis on the power of knowledge and the importance of science serves as a constant source of inspiration throughout the series.

However, more than scientific inventions, even if it is included, the main focal element of the episode is the introduction of a new character who will be very important to the plotline. Amaryllis, a petite and beautiful young woman residing on the island, is much more than a pretty face. She has a fierce personality and an objective to bring justice to the people of the villagers. Moreover, she knows where the beam originates from, which turns everyone into stone.

While Dr Stone is undeniably captivating, it may not appeal to everyone. Its heavy focus on science and the deliberate pacing of the plot might deter those seeking fast-paced action or immediate gratification. However, for viewers who enjoy a combination of intellectual stimulation, character-driven narratives, and strategic problem-solving, the show offers a refreshing and satisfying experience.

Nevertheless, the anime series is becoming exciting every other week. There has been a considerable amount of development in terms of the plot and also the characters. A huge change can be seen in the relationship dynamics between various characters from the first episode to the latest one. But we are still left with unanswered questions, and the plot is increasingly becoming complex.
