Frustrated by her calls being ignored, Eun-jae makes her way back home to meet her mother when she comes across Sun-woong. She apologises to him for what her father did to him and asks him to call her in case of any emergency. Kim Sa-bu sees this and remembers his conversation with Jin-man.

While Jin-man asked him with all these troubles were part of Kim Sa-bu’s plan, he replies that all he had planned was for him to become part of the team and nothing else. Now, he hopes that Jin-man would stick to his position and fight the situation instead of quitting.
Meanwhile, Eun-jae comes back home to see her mother once again trying to take control of her life. However, Eun-jae is no longer the same person she was years back and tells her mother to not go about taking control of her life again. Jin-man hears this from outside and prepares to leave when Eun-jae comes out and asks him to return to Seoul as she is unable to see the situation he faces at Doldam.

Later, Jin-man has a drink with Woo-jin at Do-il’s place where he finally opens up about the incident from three years back. He agrees to come out as a little strong, however, the death of the resident was not within his expectations. He wonders if this generation is just too soft-hearted because of which he is unable to go along with them.
Woo-jin tells him that the new generation is not soft-hearted but is filled with individuals who are trying to survive in every way possible. He also tells him that Kim Sa-bu too has come out quite strong with every one of them, however, he is also a mentor who never leaves behind his student.
Elsewhere, Kim Sa-bu gets Sun-woong to prepare for surgery where he will assist him. The latter is delighted yet scared by this, but when he puts forth his fear in front of Kim Sa-bu, he is asked why he did not show this fear when entering Jin-man’s office. Sun-woong is shocked to have been caught and tells him that it was because of the anger he felt for his friend and the discrimination he once faced.

Kim Sa-bu then tells him to rise above the people he wants to take revenge on by polishing his skills. Listening to Kim Sa-bu’s way of taking revenge, Sun-woong is ready to start a new chapter in his life.

Dr Romantic Season 3 Episode 12 Review
Kang Dong-joo has finally returned and now the show is set to begin as a clash between one who strictly follows the rules and one who lets go of procedures begins. Episode 12 has ended with more to look forward to and it now seems like the week-long wait has been in vain because we wanted more.
Episode 12 has brought an end to Jin-man’s role in this season, however, the conversation Assemblyman Ko had on the phone seems to be pointing towards the return of an antagonist who has been quite obsessed with Kim Sa-bu and Doldam. Also, why does it look like the elderly woman’s case had something to do with the direction Kim Sa-bu’s role is going to take in this show?
On the other hand, there is a serious need for Eun-jae’s character to play a bigger and better role in this show. Instead of just focusing on the Oddball Project surgeons Dong-joo and Woo-jin, who are bound to be the biggest players in the upcoming episodes, we need more from the other characters.
Altogether, this episode ends with more questions and we need answers as soon as possible! Let us know what you think of this episode in the comments below!

but why the precap showed dong jo telling woojin that he wanted to see if he is better then kim sabu?
is kang dong jo is going to be a guy here? did he changed ?why he was yelling not to treat non traumatic patients? what’s going to happen?
okay so i think its to test eunjae and woojin of their capabilities. IN season 1 we already know that Dongjoo really wants to be better than Kim Sabu so I think its to see how will they act in situations like that as Dongjoo pressures both Woojin and Eunjae
if surgeons at trauma center treats non traumatic patients, then, there will not be any need for trauma center. Everyone can just go to the ER in the hospital. Trauma centers are for big cases and really in need of specialised surgeons especially in remote areas like Doldam.
