A new Korean Drama from JTBC is here, and the fans have spoken in the Doctor Cha Episode 5 Twitter reactions. Also known as 닥터 차정숙, this series stars Uhm Jung-hwa, Kim Byung-chul, Min Wook-hyuk, Myung Se-bin, Song Ji-ho, Jo A-ram, Baek Joo-hee, Park Jun-Keum, Kim Mi-kyung, Lee Seo-yoon, So A-rin, Park Chul-min, Kimg Byung-choon, Lim Hyoung-soo and Kim Yea-eun, alongside other cast members.
This Korean Drama series is directed by Kim Dae-Jin and written by Jung Yeo-Rang. This show shows the protagonist making a drastic lifestyle choice. After putting a pause on her medical resident career to become a homemaker, Cha Jeong-suk decides to start her training all over again when her husband, In-ho, a chief surgeon at the university hospital, cheats on her.
Jeong-suk can barely catch a break because after she is electrocuted, her head senior asks her to get back to work like nothing ever happened. Good for her because she is ready to put this whole incident behind her. People have already started creating rumours that In-ho and Jeong-suk are seeing each other. Not too good for the two of them, who decided this whole relationship would be strictly professional.
She is trying to do her work, but Seung-hi is on another level of lividness because her daughter gave her a major dressing down, and she cannot handle that kind of disrespect. Jeong-suk is now expected to do some research work for Dr Choi Seung-hi as well as the surgery department, which is already short of hands. On top of that, she is roped into more trouble when one of the patients runs away from the hospital. The catch? She is a prisoner in jail for murder. While the audience is aware of what happened to her, the staff don’t.
The hospital is on high alert, and Jeong-suk is on thin ice. Jung-min comes in and lets her know that a cab driver called the police and brought her back, so it is all okay, but the media will still paint this as a huge blunder, and the hospital is unwilling to take this kind of damage, especially from an old resident. They are nagging her to quit, and she is actually giving that some thought because her daughter has also expressed concerns over this new professional journey. She is about to start college and needs help which her mother is unable to give.

Roy Kim is also fine with her leaving because this attitude is not helping her case. Jeong-suk is packing everything up in her department, ensuring things are okay before she leaves her dream job, only a few weeks after she gets it. But she realises that family is important and sacrifice is crucial. However, one of her former patients came forward and donated 10 billion won to the hospital on the condition that she won’t leave this job and would complete her specialisation.
The chief’s hands are tied now. All they can do is hope for the best that Jeong-suk continues to be a good employee at the hospital. Meanwhile, this has given the old resident enough confidence that she is not going anywhere. For all the obstacles that come her way, she will be standing ahead, ready to fight them off.
This is the first time viewers have expressed disdain for the drama. It is truly refreshing to see some new opinions that don’t just praise the show. While there is no criticism per se, most fans are just seeing vindication for their favourite characters. Some reveals have also made people extremely curious about what might happen next once the truth comes to light.
