Divorce Attorney Shin (신성한, 이혼) is a Korean courtroom drama series, co-directed by Lee Jae-hoon and Lim Jun-hyuk. The screenplay is written by Yoo Young-ah and it has been adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Kang Tae-kyung, which was published from 10 September 2019 to 31 August 2021 by Kakao.
The drama stars Cho Seung-woo, Han Hye-jin, Kim Sung-kyun, and Jung Moon-sung in the lead roles. Divorce Attorney Shin Episode 1 introduced us to the main character of the show – Shin Sung-han. He is approached by Lee Seo-jin to be her representative lawyer in her divorce. However, the case takes a trivial turn & he later meets with a central figure in the case.
The K-drama will follow Shin Sung-han who majored in piano and became a professor at a music university in Germany. However, something happens and he is urged to come back to South Korea and starts working on becoming a lawyer. And not just any lawyer but especially a divorce lawyer, due to some reasons that are related to his own life. He is also joined by his childhood friends – Jang Hyung-geun and Jo Jeong-sik who call themselves 40-year-old youths.

In the first episode, we see Shin Sung-han taking up the case of radio host Lee Seo-jin who is embroiled in a leaked sex tape case & has been served divorce papers by her husband. She had an extra-marital affair to escape from her controlling husband and the guy leaked their intimate moment by secretly filming it. She only wants custody of her son, Hyeon-u but the controlling husband is out with all the guns to stop her from getting anything.

Divorce Attorney Shin Episode 2 Prediction
In the preview, we see that the case has been taken to court and many things are revealed, which might show the husband’s involvement in maligning her image. There’s a possibility that the father showed the sex tape to the kid & which can be taken as an offence, helping Lee Seo-jin in getting full custody.
We see her having an emotional conversation with her son, who has been rather indifferent to her so far. There were also some references to Shin Sung-han’s past and we might get to know more about the reason why he left his career as a pianist to become a divorce lawyer.
