Diva of the Deserted Island: Park Eun-bin to Make Her Comeback With ‘Start-Up’ Director?

Following her enormous victory as Woo Young-woo in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Park Eun-bin is now in talks for the new romantic comedy Korean drama Diva of the Deserted Island. Her fans are already rejoicing at the possibility of her returning to the acting scene.

The duo of Director Oh Choong-hwan and Park Hye-ryun as the writer will be teaming up again after their previous triumphant project results with While You Were Sleeping and Start-Up for the brand new series as well.

The basic plot will follow a girl, who’d initially hoped to become a singer, making ends meet on a deserted island, as is also hinted at by the title. Her eventual return after 15 years will focus on her attempting to come to terms with the drastic change in her environment as she rejoins society having been isolated from it for all these years.

The reports haven’t been confirmed yet and the actress is still said to be reviewing her options. If she does accept the offer, she’ll be welcomed in as the lead role of Mok Ha. The Attorney Woo actress has long been known her genuine display of onscreen emotions and for portraying her roles with a passionate fervour, thus drawing the fans’ attention and keeping them hooked to the storyline, while also feeling immensely for her character.
