The South Korean web series Death’s Game (이재 곧 죽습니다) premiered on December 15, 2023 on Prime Video. Adapted from a 2019 Naver webtoon of the same name written by Lee Won-sik and illustrated by Ggulchan, the series features Seo In-guk and Park So-dam in lead roles. Directed and written by Ha Byung-hoon, the storyline revolves around an individual embarking on a new life entangled with frustration and death.

The series is set to consist of 8 episodes, and the first four episodes of the series have been released on the platform. Each episode has a runtime of approximately 50-60 minutes. Although it is originally shot in Korean, the series is available with English subtitles.

Death’s Game Part 2 Predictions

The plot of the show introduces the challenging life of Choi Yi-jae, marked by profound misery as he contends with a series of setbacks continually thrust upon him by life. Despite the relentless adversities, he remains resolute, persistently working to uncover a serendipitous opportunity that could redirect him towards a more favourable path, offering relief from his enduring tribulations. Unfortunately, each undertaking seems to converge into a metaphorical impasse, trapping him in an inescapable quagmire of despair.

Death itself appears before Yi-jae and punishes him brutally for committing the grave sin of meeting with Death way ahead of his time. He is condemned to live 12 more lives in different bodies and will die in the most agonizing manner. However, if he is able to survive in any of the timelines, he has the opportunity to live that life.

Death's Game Part 2

Will Yi-jae be able to take revenge on Park Tae-woo?

During Yi-jae’s seventh reincarnation as Jang Geon-u, he yet again encounters his past lover, Lee Ji-su. They become closer to each other as time goes by, and a relationship between them blooms. However, Yi-jae grows impatient and reveals his true identity during a conversation they have. But fate does not allow them to be together any longer as a speeding car rushes towards them and crashes into them both. Yi-jae and Ji-su are crushed beneath the car on the road.

Ji-su dies instantly from the collision, but Yi-jae still has consciousness. The driver from the car steps out, and he realises that his murderer is none other than Park Tae-woo, the heir of the Taekang group. Yi-jae meets with his death yet again for the seventh time and helplessly retreats back to the chambers of Death. However, he promises to himself that he will find Tae-woo and kill him. Moreover, it is also shown that Tae-woo has some hand in the death of Yi-jae in every timeline.
