Cannes 2022: Deepika Padukone to AR Rahman, Indian Celebs on the Red Carpet

Cannes 2022 is here and, we cannot keep calm with all the glitz and glamour celebrities from all around the world are bringing to the globe’s most sensational red carpet. Also known as the Festival de Cannes, this year marks the 75th annual celebration of this international film festival. The festival is held to preview new films of all genres from all around the world. This year the festival is paying tribute to icon Tom Cruise with the release of his film Top Gun: Maverick as well as The Truman Show from 1998 which serves as an inspiration for this year’s Cannes’ official poster.

Most of the Indian celebrities have walked down the red carpet already while some known faces from India are just touching down the French Rivera. Actor Deepika Padukone is a part of the jury at Cannes this year and, she has stunned everyone with her Royal Bengal Tiger inspired saree from Sabyasachi. Actors like Urvashi Rautela and Tamanna Bhatia are making their debut on the world’s biggest red carpet this year with black and white as their feature colours.
