Business Proposal Episode 2 Recap Contains Spoilers (It’s not a review)
Business Proposal Episode 2 starts where Episode 1 ends. Ha-ri enters Tae-moo’s car to hide from Min-woo. Tae-moo is shocked to see Ha-ri as she refused to marry him earlier and never wanted to see him again. When Tae-moo questions Ha-ri, she again says she has no interest in him and doesn’t want to marry him because he looks like an ‘archaeopteryx’. After saying all of this, Ha-ri steps out of the car. Tae-moo is confused as he’s never heard of archaeopteryx. Sung-hoon shows him the bird’s pic on his phone, and Tae-moo isn’t happy with the comparison.
Ha-ri meets Young-seo at a bar where they hope to see the cute guy (Sung-hoon). Both are unaware of his real identity. The two girls get super drunk and cause a lot of mess at the house later. Ha-ri insists Young-seo to tell the fake blind date truth to Tae-moo ASAP.
The next day at the office, Ha-ri finds out that her colleague might be dating Min-woo. She even follows them to hear their conversation. When Ha-ri tries to leave the restaurant, she sees Tae-woo coming from the other side. To hide from her boss/blind date, Ha-ri runs fast and slips on the floor. Accidentally, her footwear hits Tae-woo on his face. Ha-ri starts running, and Tae-woo follows her. She apologises and covers her face with her hair. The two then talk about a business idea that Ha-ri proposed in the past.

Later in Business Proposal Episode 2, Young-Seo meets Tae-woo, who Sung-hoon accompanies. She finally finds out her crush’s real identity and gives him her visiting card. Young-seo also tells everything to Tae-moo. But she hides Ha-ri’s real identity and that she works as an employee at his company. Tae-moo insists on meeting the girl who came on the date as fake Young-seo.

When Ha-ri meets Tae-moo after Young-seo’s insistence, they talk about her lies. Ha-ri apologises to Tae-moo for the betrayal and for calling him an ‘archaeopteryx’. Ha-ri reveals that she did it all for money. When Ha-ri’s bags fall on the floor, Tae-moo picks up the business card from her family’s fried chicken cafe. He asks for her real name, and she lies – Shin Geum-hui.
We learn that just like Young-seo, Sung-hoon might also have a crush on her. On the other hand, Tae-moo goes on multiple blind dates in one day. He’s exhausted with the dates and gets into an argument with his grandfather, who wants him to marry. Tae-moo realises that he wants to marry Ha-ri but for escape reasons.

Tae-moo again meets Ha-ri with a proposal. Tae-moo says that they should get married as an act. He calls it a contract relationship. Ha-ri rejects the offer as she isn’t willing to lie again. Tae-moo says that he’ll pay her double the money she got from Young-seo. Ha-ri starts thinking of how the money will clear her family’s debt. Before we know her final answer, the episode ends with a passionate moment between the two.
Business Proposal Episode 2 Recap: Final Thoughts
Overall, today’s episode was also filled with laughter and cheesy, slow-motion scenes. It wasn’t as good as the first episode, but not bad either.
