Bringing an intricately laid plot with ambitions hidden behind smiling faces, this show follows Seo Dong-ju and Yeom Jang-seom, who come face-to-face due to a twist of fate. With one hacking the other’s political slush fund worth 2 Trillion Won, the game has only just begun because the survival of the fittest is the rule of the world.

Seo Dong-ju is a man with hidden intentions that make him take the look of a devoted servant of the Daesan Group. He comes to be known as the Daesan Man, someone who lives and dies for the group and would do anything for the group. However, hidden behind this facade is a man who desires to consume Daesan Group entirely when he gets the chance.

Yeom Jang-seon is a law school professor and the former director of the National Intelligence Service. But hidden behind this personality is a man who is known to be the Kingmaker, and is capable of controlling the South Korean political world with ease. While he feels joy in this life, wielding both power and money and controlling everyone like a marionette puppet, things change drastically when he comes across Seo Dong-ju. What will be the result of their adjoined fate and the effect it will have on the country’s political scene?

Buried Hearts Cast

Directed by Jin Chang-gyu, the drama stars Park Hyung-sik as Seo Dong-ju, Huh Joon-ho as Yeom Jang-seon, Hong Hwa-yeon as Yeo Eun-nam, Lee Hae-young as Heo Il-do, Gong Ji-ho as Myung Tae-geum, and other cast members.

Park Hyung-sik is back with another fabulous role after his hit Kdrama Doctor Slump and Our Blooming Youth. Alongside him is the Bloodhounds and Missing: The Other Side star Huh Joon-ho. Joining this fabulous duo are Only You actor Hong Hwa-yeon, Mr Plankton actor Lee Hae-young, and more.

Buried Hearts Release Date and Time

Buried Hearts takes over SBS’ Friday and Saturday 22:00 PM KST time slot previously occupied by Love Scout. The show is set to release two episodes every week starting from February 14th, 2025 and consists of 16 episodes in total. The show is set to stream on Disney+.
