Suga of BTS has surpassed 4 billion streams on the music platform Spotify and fans cannot stop the celebrations as the rapper reaches this milestone. Becoming the first and only Korean rapper and 4th K-pop soloist to hit this benchmark, fans worldwide are not stopping celebrating as their New Year’s Eve has certainly become even better with this news.
Popularly known as Agust D, he has reached this milestone on Spotify across all credits under his two solo accounts. Suga aka Min Yoongi is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, song producer, and BTS member who has been loved by fans dearly. Despite his recent involvement in a DUI case where he faced serious consequences due to malicious rumours spread via the Korean media, fans have been supporting the idol through the incident. ARMYs worldwide have come together to support the idol through this situation and have been working hard to protect their beloved artist from haters, the media, and more.
Now, months after the incident, their support has brought the idol to become the first Korean rapper to surpass 4 Billion streams on Spotify, a milestone for his solo career. He has also joined his fellow members Jungkook, Jimin and V to become the fourth Korean soloist to hit the benchmark. Holding the record for becoming the first girl group to reach the milestones of 1 billion, 2 billion, and 3 billion the fastest among other groups, they joined BTS and BLACKPINK who were already in the club.

From 4 billion to 40 billion, BTS has been part of this club for a long time and their position here is well deserved. They broke various records by becoming the first Korean act to surpass 40 billion streams on the platform and have only been moving forward since then. BLACKPINK
Being the first K-pop girl group to join the Billion Club on the streaming platform, the group has been enthusiastically supported by fans over the years. With the members all joining the Billion Club in their solo careers as well, the popularity of this group can never be underestimated.

Not just the 4 billion club but Stray Kids have surpassed 9 billion streams on Spotify and have become the third K-pop group to do so. Joining BTS and BLACKPINK in achieving this feat, they are also the only fourth-generation K-pop act and JYPE artist to be able to achieve this feat.

Surpassing 4 billion streams on Spotify in 2023, this group has only been moving forward since then and garnering more popularity throughout 2024. With another billion added to their total number of streams, they are slowly moving to join the bigger billion clubs at their pace.

Becoming the fastest Korean boy group to enter this club, ENHYPEN achieved this milestone in 2024 and has truly shown its power in the industry. The band is immensely popular across the world and has shown no signs of stopping any time soon as they continue to bring out more content for their fans.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER aka TXT also achieved this feat earlier this year when they surpassed 4 Billion streams on the platform through the support of their beloved MOAs who stopped at nothing to show their love for the group. The group has also shown their love for their fans through content that has been entertaining their fans all year round.

Jungkook
Jungkook’s debut solo album Golden was truly a marvellous piece of work and it soon became the first and only Korean album to reach 4 Billion streams on the platform. He became the fastest to achieve this feat in just 276 days, soon becoming known as the ‘King of Spotify’ by fans.
Jimin
While he may have entered the Billion club the fastest surpassing Harry Styles; Jimin entered the 4 Billion club in 2024 and soon became the only K-pop soloist to stay at number 1 in the charts for the longest period which is of 458 days straight in South Korea.
V
This year also saw V surpass 4 Billion streams on the platform making him the third in this list and also the third BTS member to do so. The record set his solo career in stone and highlighted his talent as a singer.
