Boo Bitch: Has Netflix Renewed the Comedy Series For Another Season?

After that hopeful ending, fans are wondering if there is a chance for Boo Bitch Season 2, although it was pretty much marketed as a miniseries. But, given how Netflix changes its tune with the air and hype around a show, you can never know for sure.

Created by Tim Schauer, Kuba Soltysiak, Erin Ehrlich and Lauren Iungerich, the show stars To All the Boys famed Lana Condor as Erika and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark’s Zoe Colletti as Gia along with Mason Versaw, Aparna Brielle, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Jason Genao, Jami Alix, Madison Thompson, Mary Aldousary, Zachary Fineman and Reid Miller. It has a total of eight episodes, with a runtime of 20-30 minutes.

Boo Bitch Season 2: When Will It Release?

The final moments of Boo Bitch not only threw the curve that Gia is the dead one, not Erika, but it also made up for a very heartfelt moment in the end with Erika making things right to help Gia ascend to the afterlife. But, where we think the series might have ended isn’t essentially where it was meant to end.

At the very end of the show, we see Erika in college. She brings a lamp to her hostel dorm in college which lights up on its own, without electricity letting the audience know that Gia might have ascended but is pretty much still around.

It is still early to predict or get any concrete news on if there is a season two or not. However, the possibility of a second season is huge. Even Lana Condor, who plays the role of Erika in the show, revealed during her interviews that she is open to the idea and possibility of Boo Bitch 2 which will give us more time to focus on Gia’s afterlife, Erika’s college world and the interdimensional friendship the two will share.
