The little brother among The Big Three has risen again, as Bleach is back to claim its spot as a shonen legend. Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8 is the eighth episode of the second part of Bleach’s final arc, an action, fantasy, and supernatural anime directed by Tomohisa Taguchi and based on an original manga written by Tite Kubo. The episode is also known as Bleach TYBW Season 2 Episode 8, Bleach Sennen Kessen-hen – Ketsubetsu-tan Episode 8, and Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Season 2 Episode 8.
The series is based in a world where spirits are guided towards the afterlife by a group of protectors named “Soul-Reapers”. They are their sole defence against various other negative aspects of souls, such as the corrupted hollows, the powerful Arrancars, and bad Soul Reapers out to destroy the balance of the world. Speaking of Balance, the latest season revolves around Quincies, the natural enemy of the Soul Reapers, and their war against the entire soul society.
As Ichigo has just discovered a new nature of his Zanpkuto with the help of Ohetsu, one of his closest friends seems to have left his side and betrayed him. Uryu Ishida has left the side of the Soul Reapers to join up with his Quincy brethren. This season will see us learn more about the Quincy attackers through Uryu as the Soul Reapers lick their wounds and try and prepare for the next invasion, whenever it comes.

The big Kenpachi, one of the strongest beings, not just Soul Reapers, in the world, has returned and finished off a Quincy who might have just been the most dangerous out of all of them. Gremmy was just as strong as he could imagine himself to be. However, he couldn’t even imagine someone being strong enough to defeat him, and that exact fact cost him his life. The next episode will go through the fallout of that episode, alongside the retreat of the Quincies because of their losses.
