BLACKPINK Drops ‘Born Pink’ Album Announcement Trailer and We Can’t Keep Calm!

BLACKPINK is finally back and we are loving the way they have chosen to announce their new album Born Pink! After nearly two years the girl group is back and is ready to create another storm with their powerful comeback.

On August 1, 2022, the Kpop group released an announcement trailer on their official Youtube channel at midnight and has been trending since then. The trailer shows the name of the new album Born Pink, along with a roadmap for the next few months.

BLACKPINK will be dropping a pre-release single this month followed by the album in September and taking off for their world tour in October. The girls are going to get super busy with the upcoming comeback activities and world tour.

After the release of the announcement, Blinks around the world are excited to see their favourite group finally performing together on stage. One fan has written “this is like BLACKPINK in their reputation era and it will be the biggest comeback of the year and will be a massive hit”.

Born Pink will be marking the group’s official comeback after the release of their massively hit, full-length album The Album which was released in 2020, with the title track Lovesick Girls. The group has recently broken Youtube records with its song DU-DDU DU-DDU which crossed the 1.9 billion views mark last month.

BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group under YG Entertainment and consists of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. The group debuted on August 8, 2016, with their single album Square One which consists of the songs Whistle and Boombayah. The group became the highest-charting female Korean act on the Billboard Top 100 with Ice Cream. They also became the first girl group to achieve more than a million album copy sales of The Album which was released in 2020.

The group has made many achievements and has broken numerous records as of today, becoming one of the biggest K-pop girl groups in the world. They have been acknowledged as one of the most powerful celebrities in South Korea and also by former South Korean President Moon Jae-in for their work in spreading the K-pop phenomenon across the world.
